I think it's more about John Wall playing well....or at least more efficiently than Westbrook. If that happens, we can fully enjoy Westbrook being the godawful basketball cancer he's always been.

If Wall comes in and sucks, it'll just be garbage in, garbage out.

Tough to judge anything the Rockets have done with half our rotation in quarantine. I think we win against Portland easily with a full Roster, heck with just Eric Gordon.

It's Thomas Bryant. He is one of their best players. I'm surprised you don't know who he is.

if your triple double doesn’t come with at least 40 points, then it’s nothing impressive

Russ’s little 20 point triple doubles on 7-19 shooting are so trash

Russell Westbrook is really exposing of how bad the Voters are, the Writers, Media, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson all Voting for Russell Westbrook over James Harden.

It just goes to show don't believe the Fake Hype of Triple Doubles. Steven Adams is the Real MVP on the Thunder. Stat Padding is nothing now.

Harden wants to win a ring and be a champion...Westbrook wants to be the triple double champion

I'll believe it when I see it. So many stuff is being said nowadays, and most of it is just PR for fans and media.

He has proven to be the modern Iverson. I mean, you take Iverson and make him dumber and taller and you get Westbrook. They both built a strong cult of personality, too. I was an Iverson fan back in the day. Once I saw Westbrook, I was in awe, but naw, noticed the similarities in abilities and personalities, won't get fooled again.

I do not necessarily think they are bad.

IMO Ben Simmons and WB do not belong in this era.

They would have loved to play in the 80s, 90s or 00s.

You have to be a good shooter in this era, even Doncic has his problems with FT shooting.

Bad wouldn't be the word. Their styles are meant to be flashes. Their teammates could only be inspired for so long before their patience and sacrifice goes unrewarded for the x straight season.

Also, Westbrook wouldn't have averaged a triple-double in any those eras. Could you imagine him trying to take rebounds away from Hakeem and Otis Thorpe? Ewing and Oakley?

icymi, Westbrook had three triple double seasons in a row with OKC. The 1st one got him MVP; the next two exposed the voters, but little was said about it. They probably claimed that the 1st yr was cause he led league in scoring, too.

It’s really too bad we couldn’t see a healthy and in rhythm Russ against OKC/LAL.

The only reason to watch a lot of Wizards games is that your name is Andrew Sharp.

I really only know what Thomas Bryant gets up to by listening to basketball podcasts and checking out box scores.

    That will not happen.

James Harden will be the alpha where ever he goes.
