Westbrook finally got his 10th assist but now the game is out of reach while he was chasing stats lol..
Brown is the only young star (whose name is floated in Harden trades) who is making the next step so far this year. Maybe MPJ too.
How does Scotty Brooks still have a job? He’ll get fired at some point, and then quickly get scooped up again because organizations just love hiring retreads...
All this is doing is lowering Beals value before the inevitable trade. They took the ball out of his hands when he was looking like a top 3-5 scorer in the league and gave it to the most inefficient chunker in league history. Oh...and they owe us a pick for the privilege.
Someone already tweeted this, but I forgot who. John Wall hasn't played yet and the Rockets have already won the Westbrook trade.
I still don’t see him as a centerpiece. Murray, yes, but not MPJ. at the moment, he’s a very good offensive role player. He doesn’t really create for others or even himself. 63% of his 2s are assisted this year, and 100% of his 3s. And he’s currently a defensive zero. don’t get me wrong...I really like him and his potential. But he’s not a centerpiece.
All these teams losing by so much... Need more data, but could it be that players don't care as much? Maybe their pride is protected by the empty arenas and drop in ratings?
Anyone hate the word "triple doubles" now-a-days? Seems like everybody and their momma is getting them. Not really impressed by them anymore. Maybe Westbrook spamming for them the last few years just made feel meh about them.
Yeah, people constantly compare MPJ to Durant. But Durant at MPJ's age already had two scoring titles, two all nba first team and led his team to the WCF. I really don't think MPJ has the talent of Durant, even if he stays 100% healthy.
Well, it's easier for players who can breakdown defenses for points and assists to also rebound because the game has eliminated the traditional center and power-forward. So yeah, less impressive than if they were doing it when big men ruled the NBA.
