Added ipof before close. Long term hold. I Haven’t been doing much. Will be looking for sell offs this week to buy in
hard to pick between the big 4. mainly in amzn for the stimulus "tax" and they had a nice wedge that they are breaking out of; with a little bit of aapl due to consumer hype (what i've learned is ppl like buying shares of brands they like, good way to spend those stimulus cheques and aapl is always in the news with new product that ppl want). you've covered msft's fundamentals, and ark's been accumulating googl lately for their AI capabilities, reopening of travel would be a huge boost to earnings as well as they resume eating away at booking.com and gang's business. i want to own these 2 as well, but $ is finite, need to pick.
Are you in GLD / SLV or a different ticker etc? And are you playing options on those or just holding? Just curious, I was in SLV before on calls but not recently.
have diagonal call spreads on both. long a LEAP call (Jan 2023) Short a near-term call On a monthly basis, Keep on rolling forward the short leg to a higher strike, while collecting a premium. the goal, at or before expiration, is to effect the LEAP to be a no-cost option, and be way in-the-money
Nice man, thanks for the detail on this. I definitely need to get into trying a leap call eventually. I know we discussed it at some point (can't recall the ticker that time) but I think your plan here will work out great.
good to see that ur conversant w the TA vernacular in AAPL's case, trading action has almost completed a cup formation; a handle is forthcoming
Twitter reacts to Baron Davis, Master P planning to purchase Reebok https://larrybrownsports.com/basket...avis-master-p-planning-purchase-reebok/570767 picked up some W.
Sold a 10-pt Bullish PUT spread, used the premium collected to defray the cost of a 40-pt bullish CALL spread
That sucks about Workhorse. I’m still holding mine at $17 avg but looks like it may have a breakout in the near future. Fingers crossed
i am staying in my lane, which is not SPAC. having said that, i do know sports, and from LA, the hometown of Baron Davis and Master P Both of them are decades past their prime---in particular Master P---desperately trying to stay relevant. Neither of them have run businesses before; nor do they have successful shoe brands i'll wait for a similar SPAC involving LeBron
saitou, would appreciate ur take on this breaking news. just heard from cnbc activist investor, Dan Loeb of Third Point, sends a scathing letter to the INTC Board to seek strategic alternatives including the exodus of the IC space as well as the sale of failed acquisitions. it has also questioned why senior mgmt are being paid such exorbitant compensation in the wake of losing market share---dwindling stock price--- in the IC space my immediate reaction is that this bodes well for TSM
Potentially yes. I won't be making bets on this new tho, don't know enough of what they have in mind.
Picked up some pacb at $22.60, been eying this. Ark has been high on illumina for years but this year arkg dumped them for pacb, will accumulate on dips only, pacb been running very hot.
@adoo I still stand by this post. Imo, tsmc + snps/cdns have enabled a lot of disruption. A lot of fabless start ups now claiming superior designs to the big boys. Whether they can ever scale is unknown to me, but the fabless design space is getting very crowded. Currently holding tsm and asml for long term. Had to sell klac and cdns to make room for other things, but wouldn't mind holding them either.
