Only 2 games into the season. Harden could potentially be gone any day and this guy is talking about the Playoffs? How about win a game first.

I think a conference final is very possible if Harden stays.

And with a lot of luck maybe better..

The problem is a group of CFers only watch their own stars and do not watch the competition enough.

If the competition in the Western Conference is strong on Defense, then advancing is a lot tougher.

Gotta give credit to the rivals as well.

Well rotation are hard to put people in an actual position but the tier list would be
    Tucker > Tate > Nwaba > House
Closing lineup vs teams like nuggets and Lakers would be
    Wall > Harden > Gordon > Wood > Cousins
    Smaller teams would be
    Wall > Harden > Gordon > Tucker > Wood

I would have this as my 11 man rotation after two games.

    Wall/Eric
    James/McLeMore / Brown
    Nwaba/House
    PJ/Tate
    Wood/Cousins

All that should fetch more than Covington. Covington ain’t the only decent sf out there. For all that we should be able to get Otto Porter

Playoffs is top 10 this year. 20 out of 30 NBA teams will make the playoffs. Missing out will mean Harden got traded early for pupu or that the defense never improves.

Nwaba needs to learn how to play with Harden. There are few times Harden want the ball and Nwaba didn't give him the ball. One time he ingored Harden and go all the way for layup. The other time backcourt violation where he pass it back to Harden. Either way, him and Tate need to improve their shooting.

Who is in or out is going to depend more on who is available rather than who is preferred.

This is very true. Essentially these 2 games were like 2 final preseason games for us. Once players have an established role they can grow into it. I feel much more comfortable with EGo or Cousins ending several of those possessions that had to go to Tate, Bruno, Brown and Broderick. A lot of those runs that Denver went on would have been haulted.

Im trying to package Bruno/House/Clemons and a first to upgrade the rotation. Nerlens Noel sticks out as an option. Maybe someone is still on a rookie contract for another year or so? Maybe this helps to continue to sway harden in the right direction.

    Wood/Noel
    Cousins/Tucker
    Nwaba/Tate
    Harden/Brown
    Wall/Gordon

I like this idea (or something similar) but not sure we should give up Gordon or Tucker just yet although we would have to if we want Porter. Depends on if EGO turns into a viable asset or a bad contract. I think he will play pretty well alongside Wall and Harden to increase his value again. I wonder what other targets we can get to upgrade SF or add another big? I like the idea of trading some spare parts and a pick for a solid C that can play when Cousins sits.

To avoid LTS whoever we bring in will have to ship out Gordon or Tucker

This is the biggest issue with starting those guys instead of House. Defensively, they're superior players, but it's hard to justify either of those guys getting 25-30 minutes and playing in that starting role if they can't hit a 3-pointer. House has been terrible through two games, but I'm trying not to overreact to the small sample size right now. If he's still getting outplayed by those guys a few games in and playing like the weak link, Silas definitely needs to bench him. But Tate and Nwaba could do everyone a huge favor and start knocking down some shots to make that decisions easier.

Danial House is a matador on defense despite running like Dennis Rodman , he is also meh on Offense, Forward positions has been the Rockets biggest weakness ( sorry Tuck.)

I'll go with whoever starts hitting 3s.

Too many guys are out to define much. I am happy with Harden being a Rocket, with Wood looking like the real deal and #2 scorer on the team. Now we look for Wall/Cousins to integrate into the team, stay healthy and hope for Gordon to have his bounceback year.

We all know that when in doubt, run to the Brick House.
