    That's what all the Elston Turner supporters kept telling us too last season while Rockets struggled mightily to stay in top 8.

    As soon as Rockets went small ball 5 out switch everything, then Rockets ROCKETED back into top 4.

    Silas needs to stop trying to recreate the wheel.

    The one positive being short handed is everyone has to play and now we've all seen who can contribute, who has potential, and who gotta go.

    We are playing against a team that went to the conference finals. We are facing them armed with a bunch of bench players that probably won't see much time going through the season. Lower your expectations people, we can't win them all.

    Who said anything about "THE problem"? That escalated quickly. He doesn't get a free pass either. This lineup needs fixing and he's a piece i'd fix.

    Horrible execution, but I'm hesitant to savage the team too much cuz they are understaffed. I'll wait till we have a full roster before I complain.

    I will say Caboclo has been downright horrible, Ive never seen a dude play so bad in a couple of mins...even in prime Flying Ryan Bowen, James Ennis and Juwon Howard days. House also has no excuse. Looks like he skipped camp like Harden but is a scrub unlike Harden. As bad as Caboclo is he should be SF over House imo. But I guess both of them suck too much to see PT next game, Id rather Tate see mins at SF.

    welp if there's anything this game taught us it's that our 8-12th men are better than Denver's. Best garbage time squad in the league...

    It’s hard to rebound with toothpicks vs beefsticks.

    Wood just does jot have the upper body strength for jusuf, kanter or jokic.

    I did, i never expected us to win these 1st 2 games. I merely watched to see Harden and Wood chemistry and stat pad to much enjoyment and this is coming from someone who gets pissed off at every loss lol.

    It's true, expectations around here have been really out of whack with reality for the past couple of months. Swapping a ton of fresh unproven players and rating them by their Youtube Reels always works better in NBA 2K than in reality. Didn't get too high during the offseason, not going to get too low now. One game at a time. Also, it would be nice to actually get everyone's butts on the court together.

    It's important to have reasonable expectations. I expect this Rockets team to be good, but not good enough to beat a team that was in the WCF last year without half of their rotation players, in Denver.

    The biggest definable problem right now is House. Him being unplayable is a bigger issue than Caboclo.

    Here’s what a feel good about right now:

    Wall / Gordon
    Harden / McLemore or Brown
    / Nwaba or Tate
    Tucker
    Wood / Cousins

    We don’t have a starting SF, and we don’t have a backup PF.

    Lots of work left for Stone.

    The Rockets are 8-3 against the Nuggets in the last couple years since the Chris Paul trade. The Nuggets used to be our easiest matchup because Jokic had nobody to defend and we run them out of the gym with smallball.
