It is really a no brainer and shouldn't be in dispute but there are still some that argue otherwise.
On the offensive side of the floor Harden is an absolute hurricane.

I really want James to extend, but if he absolutely won’t then:

I would only consider MPJ and Murray plus multiple picks or Irving, LeVert, Allen plus multiple picks. Denver should jump on it if available, joker and harden would be incredible. I want nowhere near Simmons.

Mahmoud Abdul Rauf is more talented than Stephen Curry.

Stephen is a Copy of Mahmoud Abdul Rauf.

The Nugs aren’t a championship org. They never have been. Content to lose to the Lakers in the conference finals. That’s why they wouldn’t make that trade.

So smart people are coming along to the talent of this team.

Don’t mind me just claiming my credit that I called this 7 business days before anyone else, anywhere.

Nah. His back injury is a major red flag regardless of a potential second surgery. If he has another surgery (he’s had two) “should recover back to normal” is a huge SHOULD, not a “will recover back to normal”. Back injuries are terribly humbling, often degenerative in the case of herniated discs, easily recurring, and lead to compensatory injuries, like hip or knee, or something that will affect his performance like sciatica. Rest days, load management, etc are the future.

Duncan Robinson > Michael Porter Jr

These guys are the same player. Outside shooters who dont contribute much else. I understand the "potential" aspect of MPJ, but he just doesnt move the needle as much as a guy like Jaylen Brown would in a Harden trade IMO.

Back injuries shouldnt be taken lightly and should be enough to scare away a GM thinking MPJ could be a cornerstone of a franchise. He plays his role well for Denver as the 3rd-4th option, I have seen nothing to lead me to believe the guy can carry a team as the #1.

The Nuggets are possibly the best organization in the NBA at talent evaluation and player development in the NBA.

Their roster is really impressive in that regard. Outside of Paul Millsap and JaMychal Green, pretty much every other piece is someone they drafted or uncovered. Of their team, only Jamal Murray was a high draft pick — and that was all that way back from the Carmelo Anthony trade with the Knicks.

I like what they’ve done picking up high ceiling talent like MPJ, Bol Bol, and RJ Hampton. It’s the right gamble as a playoff team trying to become a legit contender.

If he doesn't extend keep him this season and look for a better deal during the next draft, which should be pretty good, more teams might be willing, motivated and in the position to make a big trade, making a bad one now would be worse then drag the situation for few months, we can wait as long as Harden plays like Harden.

All that based off his rookie year?

if a rookie doesn’t come out looking like Doncic or some sh*t, they’re immediately put in a box

    Duncan Robinson>MPJ? C’mon VC, stop

Honestly, this was terrible...he overrates Ben, he didn't really mention Hardens weaknesses...I mean how can you not mention his disappearances in Playoffs? No, we won't trade Harden for Ben dude

If he was a franchise guy then why would they trade him? Also, where are you getting 7%? Back injuries are one of the most unpredictable injuries you can have. Plus he's already missed 2 years of ball because of it. I'd take Brown and Draft picks in heartbeat if I had to trade James RIGHT NOW.. Plus MPJ is soft.

What would you say are their differences? I’m not expecting star level play from rookies at all even. I’m saying to say MPJ should be the headliner for a Harden trade off of HIS career arc is really no better than with Duncan, Herro or Simmons. When you include the back history it’s a solid no from me dog.

    He’s got a pretty shot.
