But I want to specifically address what @Space Ghost said about Trump being / not being "evil." I think he's right. I don't think Trump is "evil" in the sense of a Hitler or Stalin where takes some pleasure in the death of people. I think we are incredibly lucky that he's more of a narcissistic buffoon than a sociopath. If he were an intelligent, devious, purposeful actor he might have done way more damage to democracy than he managed to as an uncaring, ignorant ass.
The difference between a sociopath and a narcissistic nut is the narcissist very much care how people see them. Not quit evil given the intention is self serving but if it is to the point that it kill people, it can almost be on the evil spectrum. He certainly don’t care about others, including if they die and so I can see why some call him evil. I’m not there but it’s not that far off.
Right, he doesn't care about anyone but himself even to the extent that it means people dying. I agree that is true. It's nuanced, but there is a difference between that and actively seeking to kill people to further your power.

As a Senator Rubio could actually compel a vote on the Bill given how closely divided the Senate is. If he and three other Republicans Senators wanted a vote in it they could compel McConnell to bring it to the floor.
