Here is the roster comparison. I sorted by games played so anyone that was uninjured but didn't play 15 games or more doesn't make the cut. This is ordered by games played that year. The players that are the same I omitted from the list.

    Chris Paul - John Wall
    Clint Capela - Christian Wood
    Tervor Ariza - Jae'Sean Tate
    Prince Luc - David Nwaba
Gerald Green - Gerald Green (it's happening - Ron Paul.gif)
    The Nene - DeMarcus Cousins
Tarik Black - Kenyon Martin Jr
    Ryan Anderson - Danuel House
    Joe Johnson - Sterling Brown
    Bobby Brown - Ben McLemore

Chris Paul is arguably better but I would not say by night and day margins.
Christian wood is better by potentially a good margin.
Trevor Ariza is a god and Jae'Sean has no chance, hang in there buddy.
Prince Luc didn't see any playoff time, Nwaba is TBD but hopefully the gap isn't too huge.
    Gerald Green is the goat.
Cousins therotically is a huge improvement over Nene
Tarik Black and Kenyon Martin aren't even the same style but you could just say we have an entire bench unit that combined will outskill what Black could bring.
Ryan Anderson was nice but unplayable at times. House seems to be trending that direction but so far lets say its an upgrade.
Joe Johnson at one time was All star level but what he gave the rockets I don't think will be more than what Brown will provide
Lets be honest Bobby Brown was just Harden's weed dealer. Ben McLemore is a huge upgrade.

People are saying current Rockets are behind only 2017 Rockets team but I argue this team is a lot better theoretically health permitting. Basically what they are saying is Ariza is one of the best players of all time.

    Any thoughts?

Also sorry for not formatting anything but I can't be bothered.

Cp3 is one of the smartest players in NBA history. That’s what was the engine. He was the leader behind the defensive effort too, constantly barking at guys to not miss rotations. That team was an offensive AND defensive monster

Some posters always complain about CP3 or try to throw him under the bus in order to make Harden look better and or to justify the move for his bff Westbrick. They also blame the 2018-2019 season on CP3 as if it was all his fault.

Lets remember CP3 and Harden’s last game together.

    CP3:
    27 points on 11-19 shooting, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 turnovers

    Harden:
35 points but was 7-12 from the FT line. 5 assists to 6 turnovers including 4 in the 4th quarter.

If Wall can play WITH Harden as opposed to alternating with him, that could be a massive upgrade at the PG position.

Christian Wood and Cousins opening the floor on offense, while still being able to get put-backs and offensive rebounds against the Lakers could also be a massive upgrade in the playoffs. Seeing every shot get blocked or altered against the Lakers was migraine-inducing.

Tucker now < Tucker before, and Tucker in D'Antoni offense < Tucker in a Silas offense. I'm concerned about this, and feel like a trade could potentially arise because of it.

Also, House is not encouraging right now, but maybe he just needs time this year, and the new coaching staff will be able to help him.

Too early to tell. I still miss Road Ryno tho even though he was so overpaid.

A lot of love for a washed 3 and D player that couldn't hit wide open 3's when the team needed him most despite it being half the reason he was an NBA quality player to begin with.

Christian Wood is so much better than Capela. Dude can get his own shot off the dribble. Has a wet jumper. That alone should catapult this team. If Wall and Boogie are hungry and ready to prove it and James is James? Shiiiiiiiiiiiit.

But could CP3 average triple doubles? Putting 44pts up on the scoreboard wins games, not leadership.

    Not mutually exclusive.

Would need both. Leadership and stats.

Are you are saying I left them out or are you saying they are worse now by enough to mention? I purposely left out the players that are the same as before. Green was a special case.
