nooice, so harden is staying. so now rox can trade woods, eg, tucker for a big piece... maybe chris paul?
I was going to say something like this myself. Anyone who thought his sour grapes would carry on to the court was wrong. You gotta know some rival GM's are looking at Hardens box score saying to themselves "44 pts on 22 shots plus 17 assists, we could use that on our team". The perception of him outside Houston had to improved noticeably last night. In Houston, myself, I want him to stay when he looks like that (his basic usual old self). I was afraid he might come out and look disinterested or lacking in effort. Even some hints in his comments that there was some pleasure in what he saw. So, his chances of staying around had to improved, even if incrementally. So yea, in about every way but the win/loss column, last night was a success or at least, a step towards such.
Deep down inside, I don't think he cares if he wins a ring or not. He hates Tilman. Morey and MDA kissed his ass and he's no longer running the show. I think he's running for other reasons IMO
Rockets' James Harden reminds other NBA teams why they should trade for him with sparkling 44-point debut
I think James respects his teammates and probably likes the team and staff on the court. It’s the team in the FO that he’s not feeling. Some of it probably has to do with him having less control but I think Tilly's strategy of negotiating and narrative building through the media is a problem. That along with not willing to pay for a winning roster.
tildouche needs to package gordon w/ those newly acquired picks for a starting forward -- this would change the makeup of the team into true contender status and at least buy us till next offseason w/ harden's trade demand
His staying is directly related to Woods and how far that chemistry builds and the number of wins it contributes to. The fact that they almost knocked off a deep Blazer team with half a roster and undrafted rookies said a lot to him. Trust me.
