Lines up perfectly with the Gordon contract and ensures the Kings get something in return instead of him just walking. I don't think he's considerably better than Eric but he is three inches taller and has a nearly 7 foot wingspan so he could start at the three next to James.
Probably won’t be a popular take. But Harrison Barnes is essentially a younger Jeff Green and has 4 straight seasons shooting 38+ from 3.
If the Rockets were all running it back from office on down, Green stays. Coach gone, GM gone, players and friends wanting out, pretty easy to leave that.
Sigh... Prior to his stint in Houston He averaged almost 30mpg over a 12 season career. If he doesn't play small ball 5, he might just survive as a hand role player. He has never been a difference makes, but can provide decent minutes. He was outstanding at the small ball 5 when both pnr defenders doubled Harden while Green was still dribbling the ball. Easy drive to the hoop, rinse and repeat! Good luck to him
