I said that at halftime of his first game and based it entirely on his performance in the first half. I like how you left out that important qualifier.
And you think that makes it better? Why would anyone who wants to be taken serious make a statement like that in 1st place based on 1 half of play? Why would you make that statement in the 1st place? All to defend Curry?
You can't argue he had a bad supporting cast when that supporting cast overcame a large 4th quarter deficit in an elimination game while Harden was on the bench.
You mean other than changing the meaning entirely? I made the statement because that was how he played in the first half. He didn't do well. And there's nothing wrong with such a statement as long as it's properly qualified, as it was. The better question is, why would anyone who wants to be taken seriously intentionally misquote other posters?
Wiseman is already better than Capela, 2 games in. Hot take? Maybe. But I'm probably right in assuming. Capela can't even stay healthy.
Even with the qualifier (which was not in your original statement) the statement was stupid AF. Why would anybody try to judge a rookie based on his 1st half of NBA basketball and even then you could tell he had much more skills that Capela who I love as a player.
It was ignorant because you said it based on 1 half of his 1st game in the NBA. It was also ignorant because you could already see he has more skills than Capela, it was ignorant in every way. Why did you ignore and cut out this.
Wrong. Wiseman did absolutely nothing in his first half of NBA basketball that proved he was more skilled than Capela. He attempted 5 shots at the rim (making 3 assisted baskets), grabbed a few defensive rebounds, had an offensive foul, and shot 1-2 from the ft line. Capela-esque. Again, maybe you just have reading comprehension issues.
Like I said, you can't trash a supporting cast when that supporting cast is good enough to overcome a large 4th quarter deficit in an elimination game with Harden on the bench.
Wasn't this my original statement? "I don't watch college basketball, but based on what I've seen from the first half, Wiseman is a far inferior version of Capela."
see you are picking and choosing again, you are completely overlooking harden carrying this roster to 56 wins and the 2nd seed. You can’t just say the roster isn’t trash because of 1 quarter of basketball. Also harden was NOT benched. He was on the bench to start the 4th quarter and Mchale didn’t put him back in because he was staying with the hot lineup. Why don’t you bring up game 7 when harden had 31 and sent cp3 home
So teammates can't get hot for a quarter? Dude 8 of those guys where out of the NBA in 2 years and you want someone to think they were good?
Why would you base anything on a half of basketball? And thanks for letting everyone know you saw a far inferior version of Capela in Wiseman. That shows you don't know anything about judging talent.
I'm not overlooking anything. I know Harden carried the Rockets in the regular season. But that image is an attempt to marginalize the quality of Harden's teammates that season. Also, it was more than one quarter of basketball, and it was a large deficit in an elimination game in the playoffs. That's enough to say they aren't trash. You can't have it both ways. I said that Harden was on the bench. That's a factual statement. I'm not sure what you're arguing.
