not sure we will ever see that. If we do and they don’t stick with it, it’s going to hurt. Wood/Harden for one game is going to be tough enough.
Lmao that's funny. Brown+ picks alone ain enough that's why they looking for a 3rd team to try to turn Kemba Walker into something more appealing. Either way I doubt anything is gonna happen this year.
I'm with you, man. There's a very real mental exhaustion that's associated with being a Houston sports fan these days, and it's seriously got me questioning whether it's worth it. Is it too much to ask for us to be able to just enjoy watching our teams in peace without A) being beaten to death with stories about how badly our franchise player wants out B) being called scumbags or worse for not immediately turning our backs on our team, even though we as fans didn't ask them to cheat or C) getting nutpunched every Sunday with a new, moronic way of losing games while also having to be reminded week in and week out that we have the shittiest front office in the league?? I've just about had it with all this ****ery.
either the Rockets don’t think highly of Brown, or the Celtics are offering up whatever they can get from a 3rd team by giving that team Kemba...whatever that is will be trash
I have a feeling the Celtics are only offering Kemba. We should hang up if they're not offering Brown.
Did you not read my entire post? We can surround ben with shooters because we have a stretch 5....two actually. He would fit in better next to wood than embiid.
Wiseman, the minny 2021 pick and the gsw 2021 pick if not conveyed to okc, plus all of their firsts with swaps for the next 5 years with Wiggins would be pretty solid. go old school twin towers with shooting and potentially a case cunningham?
career 37% shooter from 3. Elite on corner 3s last year over 40%. 38% from 3 last year on 5 attempts per game. He’s improved his shooting every single year. Fg% has increased every single year.
I look at Brown as he's at the stage Harden was at when he was traded to the Rockets. Brown is a much better defender but not as good a ball handler as Harden. Brown will continue to improve. He's rumored to be a very hard worker.
Well, hypothetically, if we traded Harden for a player of Christian Woods caliber and another solid player of about $30M (and worth every dime), plus the same pick haul that we gave OKC, I think that would reasonable. I think that Stone has pretty damn good job so far. Him putting together the trade for Wood was pretty damn genius. We honestly haven’t lost a step from Morey to Stone. If the Nets are going to be this tough, I think a team will be desperate for Harden and we will get pretty damn close to what we’re asking.
Same ole, same ole Woj...someday you will be correct. Until then, STHU with your daily tidbits of nothing.
There's no way Boston is offering something around Kemba, the Rockets could call like 15 random teams and get better offers if that was the case, Brown is definitely there if there are talks between the two teams, my guess is a deal isn't there simply because Boston probably thinks Brown and fillers in enough while Houston wants Brown with some decent to good assets.
Which is why it might not be smart to trade him if youre boston. Hes only 24. I would offer anyone but him and Tatum and try to make up for it witn lots of picks which I think they have.
absolutely...if you’re trying to acquire Harden by using Kemba as the main piece, then you’re not serious...basically, gtfoh, and don’t ever call again unless your trade offer is starting with Brown, and that’s at the very least
Nah, as @Vivi said, there's no way Boston's centerpiece of the trade isn't Brown because they have nothing else. They're not getting Harden with Marcus Smart as the centerpiece.
With the Celtics getting blown out and teams already (even after a couple games) realizing the nets and lakers are no joke - the harden sweepstakes will heat up over the next few weeks. Need harden to drop a 40 point game or two to put the icing on the cake for a deal.
