bruh could you imagine if Clint capela had a jumper out to 3 point range. That’s basically what wiseman is already at 19
Mr. Technicality WAY TO GO!!!!! You never fail to impress the lengths you would go to suck off Curry's dingdong. First Kawhi Leonard was just a random 2nd All NBA team heading into this summer. Now 2013 WB is totally better than Murray because he made the all star team. Is that really the depth of your analysis? Somebody is better player just cuz he made the all star team and the other didnt? Forget the fact that Murray spearheaded two comebacks from being down 1-3 and defeated two much more favored teams, because Murray didnt make the Alll star team he is worse than 2013 WB. Remember you are the same dude who descredited Kawhi's Finals MVP and said Paul George is a nobody because it wasnt in the same year. But now that you are trying to argue hey its ok to bring up past history again. Stfu your god is shooting 35% and totally dragging Wiseman down. Too bad all your technicalities cant save his ass from being exposed.
Curry just has to be more ball dominate and create more in isolation and PNR. The Warriors are wasting too many possessions waiting for Curry to get open off-ball, then Wiggins or Oubre has to be the creator. That’s formula is not going to work.
It looks like you're forgetting about Westbrook making the all-nba 2nd team. Whether you like it or not, that's kind of a big deal. So yes, I think 2013 Westbrook was better than 2020 Murray because not only did Westbrook make the all-star team, but he also made the all-nba 2nd team. How did I discredit Kawhi's FMVP? And regarding Paul George, you and Easy were listing players who earned accolades. Paul George didn't earn any accolades last year so I didn't list him. I've consistently said that Curry is a ceiling raising superstar, not a floor raising one. So my opinions are actually being proven true. Here's the issue. I read what you actually write while you read what you think I write. You need to do better.
This is why you don't trade away all your 1st round picks even when you don't look like you'll be in the lottery any time soon. When you have a disastrous injury season, you can tank and get a good pick.
I never said WB not making the all nba team isn't a big deal I said Murray is better than 2013 WB. Accolades are just that accolades doesn't mean a player is better just because he has more accolades. Stephon Marbury is a 2 time NBA All star Trevor Ariza has never been an all star. Who do you think has consistently been a better player their entire career? By your logic then Harden is better than Curry because not only did Harden make the All star in 2020, he was also All NBA first team in 2020. Here is the issue. You just wanna suck of Curry's dingdong so you keep flipping heaven and hell just to prove your statements right. What the hell is a ceiling raising superstar? A superstar is called one cuz he raises his team's play, there's only 5 guys on the court if you need 4 superstars before you become a superstar yourself then you ain't a superstar you are a glorified role player. What's the difference between PJ Tucker and Curry then? Tucker is also a "ceiling raising superstar" his defensive impact is first in the league and he can hit corner 3s at an elite rate. But he sucks when he's the only good player on your team cuz he can't create for himself and he certainly won't be able to score if there's no superstar threat to take the heat off of him. That's equivalent to Curry being an offensive juggernaut only when he has 3 other all stars beside him and shooting 35% when he only has an average team.
To be fair the Rockets are still gonna get a good pick if they tank since those picks are top 10 protected.
TV games mean more money, so the GSW suits probably still want them. But could be a tough year ahead where GSW keeps getting blown out on the national stage. Imagine if Kerr is desperate enough to call Luke Walton or Mark Jackson for advice.
Sure, Curry might not be that good, but the Warriors did just run into, presumably, the two best teams in the EC (BKN and MIL). Pretty tough to get wins.
That's an accurate statement. 2020 Harden was better than 2020 Curry. I can't imagine anyone would disagree. Regarding Marbury/Ariza, note how you framed the question. You specified their entire careers, and you asked about consistency. Given that, Ariza has probably been more consistent than Marbury. However, regarding Westbrook/J.Murray, you picked specific years: 2020 Murray versus 2012 Westbrook. I think most people would agree that a point guard who makes the all-nba 2nd team is better than a point guard who didn't make the all-star team. Regarding accolades, you're wrong. Accolades do matter. Look at the MVP award. You're not getting on the top 10 GOAT list without earning an MVP. A ceiling raising superstar is one who takes a good supporting cast and makes them great. Curry/Thompson/Draymond Green resulted in the greatest regular season the league has ever seen. Do you think Harden/Thompson/Green could accomplish the same thing? How many other superstars could've unlocked Green's potential the way Curry did? PJ Tucker isn't remotely close to being a star. He's too limited. He can hit corner 3s at an elite rate, but that's the only thing he can do on the offensive end. Also, you're significantly overrating the Warriors' current supporting cast. They are clearly below average.
The media never going to give harden credit for carrying the 2014 - 2015 team full of scrubs to a 56 - 26 record. When he had 3 starters out for like half the year that season. Even the 40 point tour was very impressive when cp3 was out.
