That's been my biggest issue with Harden in this whole mess. He has been HATED his entire career by EVERYONE(players, fans, media) except true Rox fans. And then he pulls this trade crap to try and win a chip for another city and fanbase that hated him, mocked him. They literally call him hitler on reddit. PJ talks about loyalty, well damn... win a chip for another city and fans... Fack your version loyalty!
Do I really need to remind you... Greek freak hates him, Russ don't want to play with him, CP3 tried to help him mature look what happened, LBJ hates him, he is mocked on NBA All Star draft. Facking scrubs getting picked over him. So many players mock his travelling, his foul hunting, dude is polarizing for many reasons. I won't even go into the former players and media!!! But... I and other Rox fans had his back through all of it; he took a giant **** on us for our efforts.
His contract is good (maybe not great) but that’s in terms of him being a tradeable piece, getting Maxey would be the icing as he could become a star player. The picks also help rebuild. I bet this hasn’t happened because we are wanting Simmons plus Maxey and either 4 picks or one of Thybulle or Milton and 3 picks. That’s better than the other teams although I would take an offer from the Celtics that includes Tatum for sure. But that isn’t happening. The trade I speak of is one 3-4 years away of course.

if you had more than 2 weeks memory worth of anything in your head, you might remember that westbrook had 2 amazing months, where he stop shooting 3s and attacked the basket, averaging 32 points on more than 50% from the field. The problem is, everybody only remembers his performance in the bubble , which sucked, after he had covid and a quad injury. Anyway, im not here to defend WB, i never really liked him, but its funny to hear people say that surrounding bad shooters with good shooters doesn't work.
this is an honest question but how much do you think the break in play helped CP3 regain some form for the playoffs. I didn’t watch enough of him last year to know if he was back to form at the beginning of last year to the break. The last year with us he wasn’t able to get by Looney. Ariza may have been garbage but his contract was a key asset. We would’ve been able to trade his contract for oubre and rivers.
I also question his abillity to be the ball handler in PNR and half court offense initiation. A lot of his role on offense is limited to transition and being in the dunkers spot.
