Maybe he’s that generational talent we’ve been looking for... to be confident enough to take it to the hoop and finish while James is calling for the ball takes balls. Looks like he’s got the skills to put up 25 at a decent clip.

Switch D requires lots of chemistry and bonding with his teammates. That will come with time. I hope we get there by trade deadline. Not sure how Harden is gonna pan out in that chemistry.

Can’t lie, I’m old school. I’m really excited about the prospect of building around a versatile big man.

Can't lie, I'm super excited about CW and that preseason game only made me more convinced his acquisition gives us hope (despite JH situation). While AD has the pedigree and record that CW doesn't, Christian's game has some similarities and because of his size (less weight) he's more fluid (to me) than AD. With that said, I think Nook's and T-Mac's observations earlier in this thread are both spot on. He needs work on his defense, but my hope is that Silas and his staff will do a really good job of developing him (and our younger players as well).

When we want to run, playing him at the 5 will put a lot of pressure on the defense. If we need to go big, bringing Cousins in at the 5 and moving CW to 4 gives us a pretty dynamic big man duo.

I've never liked comparing players too much, so I'd say let CW be CW and let's see what we get. His tools are exactly what JH needed in a big man, its too bad that his relationship with TF has seemingly made it impossible to see what these two could do over a full season. JFK's take on the way the Chinese view crises/opportunity seems appropriate as we start this season, “The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis. ' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger--but recognize the opportunity.” Hopefully, our team is able to deal with the danger and realize the opportunities in this mess.

Concerns since he struggled with that last season. That’s why he didn’t get that much playing time until they traded Drummond.
