We haven’t ever had a prime star here with James. Howard was coming off back surgery and CP3 ( who always hurt) played well but grabbed his hamstring at the biggest moment. The Westbrook trade was dumb af and making the team old small and slow was even dumber. No NBA team wins a chip with a 6’5 center who can’t dunk.
CP3 had one of his best seasons here, the Rockets could have made some moves after that, but Harden forced the Westbrook trade that handcuffed them for the future. The only thing they could do to dispose of that garbage was the Wall trade. Despite all the damage Harden has done to the Rockets with his moronic demands, they've still managed to put a potentially really good team around him, just like they've always done....and now he's throwing a temper tantrum about it. At this point, he just wants to party and ride coattails on someone else's team, he doesn't have the pride to keep being "the guy" anymore.
This is just James’ camp or mother saying these are his new teams. Portland has nothing for us just like the bucks.
Harden doesn't discriminate when it comes to booty. Well he does, but not by color, more by size and shape I'm guessing. Besides, its the demographics of the strip clubs that matter... perhaps when this pandemic I'll check that number out.
The guy is 31 wants to play with an owner who is serious about spending the money to win. He’s going about it in a sophomoric way but that’s on him. But as a Rockets fan when Harden is long gone, are free agents going to view Tilman Fertitta as an owner who is serious about winning? I don’t know. If he was Morey would still be here. They were letting guys walk to save money.
LOL, the whining about the owner will always be hilarious to me. The worst thing he did was give in to Harden's demands. The same people who whine about not handing out ridiculous contracts to washed up players are the same people who would whine if they had done so and ended up with a cap situation that was tearing apart the team. The reason Morey took off was due to Harden screwing up the team by demanding the team trade for Westbrook which destroyed everything Morey had built....but sure, let's ignore that. Simp for Harden and whine about the owner if you like, but it'll be seen as comedy.
Less about that, more about getting rid of anyone who may put us over the tax level even if they bring us closer to a title because... $ reasons.
Name a quality player that has happened to. Managing the cap situation is part of ensuring you keep putting a quality team on the court, it's something the team has done for a LONG time, but is only whined about now because certain people hate the owner for non-basketball reasons.
I blame the guy who destroyed the team by making stupid demands for destroying the team. Nothing more.
That wouldn’t make much sense to have Dame Dolla and Harden. They would have to move Dame. I wrote about this couple weeks ago and keep asking for opinions that no one on this board seems interested. Both guys need a change of scenery in my opinion. Whatever these teams have been doing it’s not working. I really think Harden can take that Portland team over the top. Dame makes a little bit less this year but the next two years will be roughly the same as Harden’s contract but takes him to 2025. Maybe throw Tucker in there as well. Portland will need to add some pieces to the deal to match. While not ideal Dame could be the star Houston is searching for.
