Well covid doesnt care if its a barbershop or a social gathering. The fact is the players are not in a bubble so just like NFL players are catching it sometimes so will NBA players and if Harden continues to be negative then he should be able to play. Im guessing someone who got a haircut tested positive. Thats the difference.

I learned yesterday that this was a cap in the CBA as far as a fine is concerned. Now if they are suspended, or miss games due to breaking protocol, they will be docked from their per game salary.

But if they were wearing their mask while taking their haircut and they are testing negative????? This does not make sense

    Stupid. Stupid.

That is irrelevant. Harden actually broke protocol. Those guys don't know who has Covid or not. Getting a haircut with less than 15 people inside is not breaking protocol. They have to satisfy contact tracing but because you are on a list for contact tracing doesn't mean you broke protocol.

So like I said before, Harden bearing probabilities doesn't make him any better for going to parties with no masks indoors.

Those guys didn't do that. They got the **** end of the stick probability wise.

We do not want to start attacking people for getting Covid even after doing the right thing.

Those guys were just at the wrong place at the wrong time, definitely agree that they did not break protocol which is why they weren't fined. However, following the league guidelines, it makes sense why they may be ineligible to play.

The Harden stuff, I'm a little surprised since I would of guessed he had to be under a longer quarantine, but I guess not? And yes, I know he had COVID already, but that was months ago and who knows if he still has effective antibodies. Besides, couldn't he in theory catch the virus and spread it, even if he had a good amount antibodies still protecting him? I trust that the league and their doctors are doing the right thing, but it's hard not to be confused about it.

It's weird because Harden was out partying while the team was getting haircuts bonding. It's the irony not the Covid

Like I mentioned yesterday, it's cool that the guys were hanging out together with the rookie. Positive vibes, positive vibes.

Yea, we know the medical line. And he pointed out that it is correct.

But reading it a different way...

The three guys who went to get haircuts cant play but the guy who went to a club and didn't wear his mask can.

only way that happens is if the league allows Maxey to be traded or Shake Milton is subbed in.

Harden is not trade anytime soon. We are going to USE harden to win some games and to increase his value then trade him after the East's GM feel hopeless dealing with the Nets!!!!

    yup, same for me.

I just wonder why the rentry period went from 7 to 6 to 4 negative test.

I feel like the league should have kept it at the 7 consecutive test or at least 5. So as not to have the appearance of bending the rules to accommodate Harden and the rockets.

You can still punish players for disregarding protocol. In fact it's important you give meaningful punishments to people who actually violated the protocol even if they don't trust positive to discourage other players from doing it.

Woj said on ESPN that all trade talks have stalled cause he is in quarantine earlier today.
