Jaylen Brown is so solid.... yet leaves you wanting more offensively. great sidekick... but I’m just not sold he has that Oladipo “I can be a #1 guy” level in him. guess I’d feel different if he had hit one of his threes and one more of his twos.
It's because he goes faster than he can dribble sometimes. They are almost always on fastbreaks. He doesn't have the handle to keep up with his speed, which I'd say is more of a credit to his speed than his lack of handle.
Overall of youve been watching Simmons, Herro, Brown and Siakim... you kind of know why the Rockets are like “meh”
Simmons looked invisible out there. I just don't have a good feeling that he's going to get better and that he is what he is already...which is already an all-nba player but not that top 5 elite player that you want him to be.
I don't understand why anyone would dislike him lol. From all accounts he's a good dude and teammate and just works hard on his game to try and be the best player he can be. I honestly don't understand the hate, some of it feels like people personally despise the guy for some reason.
Russ looks good, looks better with the ball in his hands then playing off ball. I'm not mad though, Wall looked solid too and we got a pick. Ben is a frustrating player, clearly talented, but it makes no sense for him to stand on the perimeter so much. Philly would be so much better with Harden, and Ben would be so much better playing a Adebayo type of role where he stands by the rim when he doesn't have the ball in his hands.
Goodness Simmons is a 0 factor on the offensive end. It’s embarrassing. You’re paying max for that lol if it isn’t a wide open layup or dunk it’s a miss.
I think its mostly because of the MVP season where Harden clearly was the League MVP and they gave it to Russ because Harden had the better teammates (Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon mentioned 24/7, while Westbrook had Steven Adams, Oladipo etc.) Since idgaf about Harden anymore, I'm fine with Russ. Still think he's overrated. Btw. the way the celtics play, they don't go anywhere either. They sure could need a guy to handle the ball and create offense. Is there someone available for them?

Yeah, I don't think the Celtics will go anywhere either. They are deep but rely too much on Tatum for offense. Rockets if they plan on trading Harden should hold firm. Eventually these teams will realize they are frauds.
