Bro i know people who didn't go back to work. I dont in know where your proof is but ask Major, a business owner if he had employees who didn't come back and if it wasn't a problem for him. 6.7% is a normal rate. $2,400 a month is more than a lot of people's regular pay
Here is an article from earlier this year that discusses this. Within that article is a link to the mentioned Yale study. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/04/res...rowing body of research,, or are not, working. Heh... Democrats get the $2,000 relief they wanted and get to paint mcconnell and republicans as grinches. Win win...
No one in here has stated do this forever or always, but it's very necessary right now for people who lost their income due to a pandemic.... People need help and if your Savior and his cronies had done everything correctly in the first place America would not be in the position it's in right now.. Must be awesome to look from the top and throw crap out on the people below.... T_Man
The bill is veto proof so all he’s doing is stalling. This is all just a tactic by him to garner more support because if you think he cares about the people, well enough said.
I know people who were furloughed and want to go back to work and their benefits have expired..... Thank God i'm in a good place where i'm able to hire them to do side work for me, so that they can have food on the table and get gifts for their kids this holiday.... So that $2400.00 a month would help them a lot and they still need more... Hell my son's 1 bed room apartment rent along is $1000.00 a month so a family with a 2 bedroom would at least be 1600.00 on up.. that only leaves $800.00 for utility and groceries... So $600.00 a month ain't crap!!!!! T_Man
. Link to Yale article says people aren't returning because their job hasnt come back. Thats a different issue and i think some weren't honest because you're supposed to return if offered your old job or any job or lose benefits. Unemployment agencies have been so busy they weren't checking
I'm sure there are some people who didn't go back to work. I know someone who didn't because she has a child who is immuno compromised. While there are I doubt they make much of a difference. Again if the stimulus checks and enhanced unemployment were so effective as to cripple the labor force there wouldn't be people demanding they be allowed to go back to work.
Gee... it took how many years for republicans to figure out that trump is unstable and bad for the republican party (and America)?
