Robert Rodriguez is in there for season two and Taikia Watiti (so) for season one. Agree that more directors would be cool. Not Bay.
The thing I don't like about Star wars, well there's many things but the main thing I don't like about it is that you could watch a movie for 3 hours and nothing changes. Star wars is nothing but meta these days. there's no excitement plot wise whatsoever. it's more about how strong somebody's Force is as opposed to somebody else. I guess for Star wars geeks they might like that but I find it so cold.
What about Mel Gibson? He did a good job directing Passion of the Christ. What about Passion of the Skywalker?
That only applies to the shabby Sequel trilogy imo, the old trilogies and current spin-offs are full of plot and interesting characters.
The 70s star wars was really good, especially esb. The toys, etc. The current films are way too long with nothing happening. But that is also most movies these days. 3 hours of boring
We've literally had new movies and TV series where either there are no jedis at all...or where they aren't main characters and just make cameos.
Bruh this is a pro star wars thread. Take your negativity elsewhere. I don't necessarily disagree with you. I get about as much excitement from the Disney SW as I do with SpongeBob or Paw Patrol. But lots of people like it. Once it inevitably reaches GoT season 8 level, check back in. We almost there.
There was some good stuff in there. A lot if it was for those that know Star Wars. And in this case that is probably ok. The key here is that we can revisit his death.
