OKC will be the worst team in the league I think.

    On paper...they are yikes.

Would hate to lose this game. Not that it means much in the grand scheme of things but the narrative about it would be...yikes...

Write a list of every single transaction Morey made and the players he brought to Houston.
Then try and argue that he only brought scrub ass players here

Honestly, **** this behavior from James Harden. He has access to everything in the world but he has to go to corporate parties at a strip club because he doesn't care. I don't even think this is about wanting a trade. I just don't think the rule apply to James.

I hope they don’t trade this dude. Let him ruin his legacy if he wants.

If someone is doing an activity so much that it hinders their career or life or finances then that activity is probably an addiction and he should seek help.

Of course, I don't know the guy personally, but from afar I worry that he needs some kind of intervention.

He's addicted to being out? He's a social addict?

This isn't drug or alcohol abuse. You don't need to go out for that.

I'm not saying he's not addicted to being out but maybe someone in his corner should keep him inside?

I think this is a guy who started hanging out with an extreme party animal and just enjoys the lifestyle too much.

It hasn't affected his life or career yet. He wants a trade and doesn't seem to care about his career in Houston anymore because he feels it's over.

Didn’t see it ending with James like this I thought it would end in a parade in Houston.

Trade him for MPJ or Simmons and let’s move on.

Its interesting decision by Harden as this only makes trading him harder, not easier. Unless he is trying to intentionally tank his value so that the team he gets traded to is stronger than it would be if he had higher value.

Sigh, it figures. Other players are doing the same thing but we're the ones gonna get screwed. Lebron would never get suspended if he did the same thing.

We can bring up Scola, Martin, Lowry, and sure it would add to his 'mystique' and allow you to hold firm to the "no scrub" debate but what I'd like to talk about is the Harden Era. The 8 years when true contender status was not a joke and why this team who loved analytics and 3 pointers SOOO much never went out of their way to bring true sharpshooters to the team instead going the good defender/average shooter route.

Morey acquired/signed Seth Curry and Danny Green for the 76ers in one week! I would have killed to have either guy shooting the wide open jumpers everyone else was missing during crunch time.

Dwight Howard/Chris Paul/Russ - those were the only "stars" James ever played with and each of them flawed in respect to health, team building or personal ego.

Who have been the professional shooters during the Harden Era? Carlos Delfino, Francisco Garcia, Troy Daniels, Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon?

Soft spots for guys like Dmo, TJones, AB, Ronnie Brewer, JSmoove, Ariza, Pablo Prigioni, Ty Lawson, Faried, House, Rivers, Green Melo ETC... ETC...

If quantity over quality is your thing then Daryl Morey kept you happy and involved thats for sure.

I don't think it's anything to do with wanting a trade and everything with believing that rules don't apply to him. He did a next question to whether he was happier here (which is fine) but he made a joke about training when it came to his well documented travels. HE DOES NOT CARE.

I think it would be classified as some kind of sex addiction.

I think it is affecting his career though, even if he wants out of Houston this doesn't help. I can't imagine many teams wanting a guy that can just randomly on a whim hit up a strip club and get suspended for it and the distraction that causes. From all reports, he spends a lot of time at strip clubs and now he's required to keep away...but he can't.

Like if he had just been our at some social gathering I wouldn't be saying this but it is ALWAYS a strip club with James.

You're saying he doesn't care but it might just be that he can't help himself.

I don't know how old you are but I'm in my early 30s just like James.

My unmarried friends are all going out now. They don't give a ****.

Your friends aren't James Harden though whose job demands that they don't go to strip clubs at this current time.

Unlike your friends, James will be spotted and caught in a picture if he goes out. Your friends could still go out, not get caught easily enough, while James simply can't. Each time he goes out will be caught on a phone, unless the place is really good at keeping phones tucked away.

James knows this. It's true he might not care at all but it's also possible that he can't help himself. What happens if this keeps happening? what happens if he goes to Philly and it still happens? At that point it would be pretty clear that he has an issue.
