I did say we should consider cutting our losses, meaning I think there’s a good chance his trade value can decrease the longer we wait.

I’m just not optimistic that we will be satisfied with the return, whenever he is traded. So, my preference is we don’t drag this out waiting for some amazing offer that may never come our way.

I do agree with this, but the Rockets should wait until the trade deadline and re-visit the situation. Harden should be able to get back in playing shape by then.

Even if there is a small chance of an amazing offer its worth waiting for because there is no downside. So we have bad chemistry in a throwaway season, who cares? There won't even be fans to care.

In fact the most amazing offer is if the team starts winning and Harden changes his mind. That may not be probable, but will not even be possible if you cut your losses too soon and not even give it a chance.

I don't like your poll choices but the answer to your question is NO.

James has the maturity of an emotional infant. You ever try to reason with a toddler?

True talent does matter, but again I think your approach is a broad one. I don't care what locker room it is, there are going to always be players, coaches, front office staff, etc that don't care for certain guys there. Or someone that they deem as their "guy". No organization is perfect brother. But you can still have a great culture. Even when you mentioned KD and Draymond having beef, I'm pretty sure that even KD will not honestly tell you that GS had a toxic environment even in that scenario. Players argue, fight, curse each other out all the time. Even the best franchises have that, it's just part of team sports. People are not going to always see eye to eye. These are over grown men, that are the best of the best, with high testosterone levels, and huge egos.

No. Between Tilman and the constant media barrage, there is probably no turning back. I don't blame him either.

A new owner comes in. Proves to be an idiot and drives out the GM and coach who made his career. I would want to leave also.

That said, the way he is pushing for a trade is rather... unprofessional. Seems to be effective though.

Strange take. James despite not having the absolute greatest of athleticism for a superstar has developed though hard work incredible skill. No baby mommas, no or virtually no legal issues, has been charitable in the community, more loyal than most of the current superstars etc.

But he is a toddler? BS.

Harden doesn't want to be here, but who knows when he will be traded. I just think this drama is mostly manufactured - some shouting at practice doesn't mean anything.

Does winning change anything? Who knows, I doubt it unless the team starts 10-0.

What do you call pandemic benders, chasing rappers, while your team start camp? What do you call posting silly pics on insta, avoiding press conferences? What do you call slapping your teammates hand away? What do you call being a sore loser in MVP? He's an immature kid which is fine honestly but to act like he isn't c'mon...

Management can only do so much. Takes two to tango.

But I think the team is ready to move on. They just aren’t going to accept pennies on the dollar for him.

I think if a good enough offer comes in his ass is outta here.

Harden has been pretty much a model NBA citizen other than enjoying life like many would if they were in his position. The worst thing he did was to throw a person's phone across the street because they were recording him.

This team has been too passive the last couple of years. A little conflict between teammates isn't a bad thing, IMO.

He is smart enough to use protection when it comes to potential baby mommas but he can't get himself to wear a mask regularly.

Women want to be with NBA dudes and getting knocked up since the dawn of time, I do not see what's wrong there honestly.

He is a tad two faced and a pathological liar, that itself doesn't scream 'good, honest guy'.

    LOL at all the haters.

Rockets start destroying teams and their hypocritical asses will be flipping faster than Bill Barr.
