[Shams via The Athletic] Signs of Tension between James Harden, Rockets teammates early on

Not only did Michael Jordan punch Steve Kerr, Hakeem Olajuwon slapped Vernon Maxwell. Both won championships afterwards. So honestly the real problem here is that Harden isn't being violent enough.

 

All of this sounds stupid.

 

So Harden is adding a little fire on top of his already world-class game? Good.

Now let's see what kind of team we have before trying to trade him.

 

All I got from this, is that Harden cares enough to feel something towards his teammates.

It would be way more concerning if Harden was just uncaring / going through the motions and trying to get traded asap.

 

I don't think this means anything on its own.

 

ESPN and the media is really trying to get him to New York, they smell blood in the water, we need to start off strong.

Also James, if you're tired of this coverage, imagine what it will be like in Gotham City with KD and Irving.

 

Dude ain’t forcing his way off the team. It’s that simple.

He also looks like a turd if all the reports are accurate so he’s not making a strong case for other teams to want to trade for him.

I am fine with him rotting away the next two years here making him drop bank to fly everywhere and pay for accommodations for all his social activities when he could work on a trade to his preferred destination if he would play nice.

Nah wall and boogie been around Harden on USA teams and pick up ball. Don’t see any friction there. As to being friends who knows? Not everyone are friends at work even though you aren’t enemies.

 

As noted by many this happens all the time in the NBA and at all levels (I've even had a ball violently thrown at my head in a tense practice).

It's not exactly nothing but on it's own it doesn't mean all that much either.

 

Exactly!!! If Jason is causing tension between Harden and Jae'Sean then he needs to go!!

 

All I can imagine right now is if this was Beverley's first year with the team and this was happening. Harden would be throwing batteries like the Russians instead of balls.

Honestly, this story did only one thing for me. Made me super excited about Tate.

Giannis throws a ball at a teammate: fiery intensity from a leader! MVP#3 on its way!

 

I am worried about Harden. He usually doesn’t miss like this. That’s more of Westbrook’s thing.

 

Jordon and Kerr fought and still won together. No doubt this is blow out of proportion. He will be moved when a deal is good.
