I am in the minority I want EG to start! He’s clearly better than House on both ends.

I think most would agree with this...House is bigger and is probably better to guard 3s and 4s but I'd rather have EG guarding a 1 or a 2. EG is clearly the better offensive player but House is a better fit in the starting lineup as just a spot up shooter. EG has playmaking ability and can play with the ball in his hands so I think he's a better fit off the bench, especially against second units. I prefer him coming off the bench.

True, but like Silas said, with Harden he doesn’t get to get into a rhythm and get his shots up. House will fit better with the starters. I hope this helps him get it going again. I think Silas will have plays for him to get going and it’s easier to do that with the 2nd unit.

I just want to say Eric was terrible all year last year wether he was on the bench or in the starting lineup. His play really had nothing to do with wether he was being started or benched. I agree House is a better fit in the starting lineup though.

Yes he was, and that could have been partly due to playing with the starters most of the time and not getting consistent looks. Now he knows what his role will be to begin the season. I guess we will find out soon.

Nice. I wanted this after watching Wood play. Have Gordon, Wall, and Cousins playing against second units.

Let’s see if my thoughts are correct. Up to you Harden.

So the bench is EG, Cousins, Nwaba, and McLemore? I like the mix.

His best game came when harden and Russ were both out against Utah.

I don’t know boogies injury progress or what he will be limited to but he played some pretty long minutes in pre season and basically looks like old boogie. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility he ends up starting even if it’s for limited minutes.

    Wall
    Harden
    Tucker
    Wood
    Boogie

would be a pretty killer lineup

To me you have enough scoring with James, Wall, and Wood. Then you come off the bench with 2 great scorers in EG and Cousins to pair with either Harden or Wall since 1 will be in the game at all times. This way you have 3 elite scores on the floor at all times. EG and Cousins will get more opportunities on the 2nd unit than as a starter

I expect Gordon to have a strong bounce back year after surgery and improved fitness.

They should put harden back in his okc role of 6th man

He can be that 2nd team killer while he waits to get traded

    Wall
    Gordon
    House
    Tucker
    Wood

    Bench harden cousins etc

    Btw I'm kinda joking too
