    Yea Wall can't shoot

Gordon is bound to brick everything

    Wood will have growing pains

Cousins is slow on defense and will be limited

    Tucker might check out

This team without Harden is 9th or 10th seed maybe even worse

This team is so bad even Captain Jackass doesn't want to make fun of the Rox fans.

Love it. Exactly zero expectations. I find it funny that this is supposedly a down year given that we have upgrades in almost all our positions. It's mostly because our roster is expected to have a lot of variance and they don't want to put money on risky teams.

I like how you sugar-coating everything from the actual reality :

Yea Wall will prove why his contract is the worst in the NBA.

Gordon will definitely get traded for a bag of chips once he will score 20 points in a game even after going 1-7 on threes.

Wood will remind every Rox fans why he was waived by this team before.

Even Cousins' knee will hold up for the whole season, I don't think the Rockets locker room will survive.

Tucker actually could get a dumb extension from Stone but then decide to call it a career and starting his designer career for Nike instead.

I'm willing to cut the Yahoo guys some slack on this one given the utter madness of the Rockets offseason -- every year, I love love reading/listening to all the Rox season previews. This year, man, I can barely get the courage to even look at my Twitter feed for fear of the Woj bomb on Harden being traded for [insert some combo that no matter what, I'll be sad about as it will mark the end of the Harden Rockets era.]

If Harden is gone (or if he's disinterested), there's a good chance we miss the playoffs. Sure, I'm a natural born pessimist, BUT: the chances of both Wall and Cousins holding up and performing at a high level through the entire season isn't too high (and as a bonus, we have Nwaba also coming off a catastrophic injury); I love the Wood signing, but his overall body of work is still so slight that no one can reasonably say he's a sure thing (yet); the chances of one of PJ/EGo missing some time at their age/injury history can't be dismissed; and wait, who's playing PG when Wall isn't on the floor?

All that said, I'm excited about what Silas is bringing to the team -- I just hope he has the right (and willing) personnel available on the court.

The best advice you will get all day is from me when I tell you to ignore EVERYTHING you ever see or read on Yahoo. Except for the pictures of Kim Kardashian’s gigantic ass...

They could land anywhere from 9th to 6th.

    Lakers
    Nuggets
    Blazers
    Jazz
    Mavs
    Clippers
    Warriors

These teams are all better than Houston. I don’t see how it’s so far fetched they don’t make the playoffs.

wall plus cousions or wall plus woods without harden = playoff 1st round
harden plus either 1 of big, wall, woods or cousions = playoff 2nd round
Harden plus either 2 of big, western final likes cp3 and caplea era
Harden plus all 3 big = champion or final at least.

    Reason:
If we have harden, it does not need to afraid Eastern team. If wall and cousins resumes 100 percent, this must be a champion team.

Lakers is old and the team is much weaker than last year. Cousions can beat Gasol, Woods =AD, Tucker can defense Leborn. Harden and Wall can destroy their guard. Houston always beats Leborn when he is in eastern.

Clippers is weaker than last year. Pg13 drops a lot. Both Kawaii and Pg13 are not good at shooting. Our small ball combination can destroy them

Nuggets is much stronger, but Harden knows how to beat Nuggets.

If only the media would predict the Rockets to make the finals, Rockets fan could sleep easy and happy.
