Harden probably feels the same way, so I don’t think he’d view these comments as unfair he doesn’t want his legacy to end up being 1 of the best players in NBA history to never win a ring...he’s been here for 8 seasons and has yet to even make a finals look at Barkley...nobody talks about his individual accomplishments, just that he never won a ring
Do you want to go full @Williamson and pick a rotation player and I'll choose Bruno? Tate, KJ, Brodric, Mason. The low lying fruit is Nwaba. Let's see at season's end who was most productive.
That’s not the point. It’s the lack of toughness and inconsistency that’s been hurting Bruno ever since he come to the NBA. Bol Bol had a foot injury in Oregon, but he clearly has a degree of intimidation and intensity in his game.
What did he say that was unfair? If anything Harden will want to play for him even more cus Riley can help him get his elusive ring. All he says is scoring titles are great but championships are better.
It means Vipers own his G-League rights to sign him before other teams, since he was cut from the Rockets during training camp. It’s called “Affiliate Rights.” You get to protect 6 players from the GLaugue draft.
How do you know he is talking about harden? Did he mention Hardens name? . The irony here is the Heat are the leading candidate by all accounts for Harden so yeah
The Nuggets were elite at developing talents. Bol would develop there, but I would welcome him nevertheless.
Breakdown article from the Chronicle: Rockets preview: A contender but only if a whole bunch goes just right Jonathan Feigen Dec. 19, 2020 Updated: Dec. 19, 2020 9:36 p.m. “Our expectation is still to find ways to win and still try to find a way to win a championship.” Silas believes he knows the way. As with the details, a good deal would have to come together. But there is that potential. “If we’re a top five offensive team and a top 10 defensive team, we should be right there,” Silas said. “If we’re consistent throughout the season as far as not having too many low lows, making sure we’re able to bounce back quickly from adversity, that’s a sign of a contending team. “We want to be a top offensive team, obviously. But we want to be a very much improved defensive team. I think you see in … the preseason games that’s been a focus of ours. To be a top 10 defensive team is a goal of ours. If we do so, with the potent offense this organization has had for years, we’ll have a chance to do something special.”
There are great players who have never won an NBA championship. Their accomplishments are forgotten. There is no doubt that winning a NBA championship is the ultimate goal of any player, especially a star. I felt Riley was implying if you haven't won it, you haven't done anything.
Go right as in guys show up to the arena? I hope the FO’s confidence isn’t in the gutter like the average fan and media’s. Please lord don’t have Harden traded before this season starts.
