I’ve wondered about Boston. If the three team rumor was real this would be where it would make sense to me. With Kemba hurt Boston probably would offer picks kemba and brown for Tucker Gordon and harden. They would the. Look for third team to take kemba, maybe the knicks?

Bro, you're not getting Tatum, it makes 0 sense for the Celtics to trade Brown AND Tatum...it makes 0 sense for them to trade Tatum at all.

 

Because Tatum plus Brown is absolutely unrealistic? Boston could still add assets next to Brown, nobody is saying it should be a striaght up swap Harden for Brown, but Tatum plus Brown makes no sense whatsoever, no matter what's your side.

I don’t think anyone’s waiting for him. That’s why he’s hopefully getting traded to BFE.

 

Jaylen Brown as the featured part of a deal for Harden would be a total FAIL.

Brown is a 3rd or 4th option on a title team. A complementary piece. If he was a legit #2 option, Boston wouldn’t be looking to trade for Harden.

A deal centered on Ben Simmons or Tyler Herro should be the goal.

 

It's so weird to see some people here essentially shouting "GIVE US ALL OF YOUR GOOD PLAYERS FOR HARDEN OR WE AREN'T INTERESTED!". If a team has to give up all of their best players to get him, why would they want him? There is only one reason to trade for Harden; to contend right now. And if Harden isn't contending then he isn't staying. And if you can't contend and he won't stay then why the hell did you give up all your assets for him?

And on top of that, if he gets traded into an even worse situation than he's currently in because we've gutted them of all their talent then what do you think he's going to do? You think he's pouting now? No. He'll demand another trade. Who is giving up all of their assets to be in THAT position?
