Woj: Rockets want to trade Harden "sooner rather than later"

Man, Im kinda pissed here. Why can't James just give this team a chance. is 10-15 games really such a task. Whatever team you go to will still be good when you get there.

 

I bet Morey is trying to give the Rockets Maxey and stuff for Harden like he did with Greene to get Artest. Stone has seen Morey's tactics before.

 

I feel ya but James lost me when he showed late, demanding a trade and worst of all (by far) at least 20lb-25lbs out of shape. If you want a trade why show up looking like you don't give a damn? You're killing the Rockets chances of getting a reasonable deal & risking injury. I love his game but if he wants out get the RIGHT deal and oblige.

He's not overweight though? That pic is getting circulated but Harden is in good shape right now. He hasnt done anything wrong since showing up at camp. Codman says he just wants to win....why not at least give it a shot here? We can find out relatively quickly.

 

Start fresh with what, we are going to mediocre and tanking for a long while when Harden leaves, we will not be good.

Harden seems to b hesitant on leaving. I have never seen a disgruntled star act "professional" b4 leaving. U can view it as him passively aggressive forcing tilman to fking make a real attempt to make moves to increase our chance of winning. Hes not gonna say yea I will play a few and give up, that tanks his image more.

Harden knows the second he locks in with the Rockets, Tilman is gonna be doing the same sht he always does. Talk about competing while closing up his wallet.

To me Tilman is already set on trading harden, big ego owner rather makes the team weaker then cater to our superstar for a better chance for the ring. Cause he's da boss.

That's how I'm reading things. Basically Harden is playin chicken but tilman doesn't care or want to play.

We might as well give it 10-15 games. If we are gonna trade him it might as well be after we find out how good we can be. No, its only good for the party that gets Harden on their team, for us it will suck and we will be trash for a long while.

It all depends on tilman. Hes the owner and probably has the final say. He wants Harden gone.

Like if he really wants harden to say and convince him to buy into the team by letting him play, all he has to do is delay trade talks and let that happen.

He looked heavy in the games I saw, definitely not in tip top shape. But as long as he has this "trade me" stance, you gotta look for the best deal. Ironically, the best situation in the league for him is here. You have hungry & talented guys who WANT to play with him. He's getting horrible advice right now. I still smell Morey in the midst of all of this.

 

Harden pushed to trade CP3 for his "friend" Russ, and pushed so hard that the owner also stepped in, and they traded a **** ton of assets for a guy everyone ALREADY KNEW struggled in the playoffs, struggled being a "pure" PG, couldn't shoot from the outside to save his life, and also had a history of injury issues pop up here or there.

All because he couldn't handle being told to move without the basketball or put more effort in defensively [it's no coincidence that Harden's best defense of his career than came against CP3 this past year].

Idgaf if he gets a ring on another team, and, FRANKLY, would be rooting against him, if traded, and even more so if the package back is "meh"
