I'd want both, or no deal.

All fanbases overvalue their own players. Except clutchfans who usually hates Harden until we’re trying to pry assets from other teams.

I’m beginning to like a Boston package the most. Brown slides in well next to Wall and they have picks available to relinquish. I’d still like to see Harden get a ring so long as it isn’t over us and winning one in Boston would send his legacy through the roof. He deserves that aspect of it after being **** on by the media for so long.

    And?

You just asked me why it is hard to grasp that someone wants out of the team and we should trade him because of it?

Well abvious answer, Harden wants what is best for him, and the Rockets want what is the best for them, pretty simple really.

Good trade package for Houston considering contractual situation and quality of the asset/player trade makes sense. Anything else and life goes on.

I am not even sure why I am replying to you. You just caled me a homer as if that is actualy a legit argument in any conversation.

Rockets leaking "info" to drive up the price.

Impeccable source = Patrick Fertita. Only a fertita would bother telling the journalist he is leaking stories to... to describe him as impeccable.

Talking about teams taking him on and his own desire to play for them. Why would a team take on a risk unless they have guarantees? And if he is willing to play for an team nor of his choosing who wouldn’t win anything why not keep him then? Makes little sense. Unless we are missing info here.

Miami wants to speed things up with Butler.

Classic case of a team with young assets who want to package for a star to speed up the process.

    Miami would still have

    Dragic
    Harden
    Butler
    ?
    Bam

I agree with you on this for sure, though my impression for whatever reason is that the Celtics fans seem a bit worse than the other potential trade partners. Celtics fans are massive homers but also seem more likely to have the sports dad "Harden doesn't play the right way" take, so it's a perfect combination.

Just telling you watching his play he ain’t it. Your opinion. My opinion. What makes him better than any player harden has played with? What makes Boston a better team in any way? Like I said if there is a Boston trade Rockets at the very least need Tatum in return.

why would we want Jalen brown back without demanding Tatum? Or throwing in smart in there. Makes little sense overall. Even The Nets deal looks better at this point.

Yuck. MPJ is soft, injury prone and whines when he doesn't get the ball

I mean I never said he’d be hardens best teammate....and he doesn’t need to be really. There’s no warriors in the league or the eastern conference. harden Tatum Pairing the east with the Celtics having a tpe to fill out the roster via trade is as talented as any duo in the conference.

Again how does this benefit the Rockets when all we are getting is Brown? And harden was very specific on who he thinks can beat the lakers. Boston ain’t it. Lol

Is Patrick smart enough to leak '' info'' for that purpose?

Ainge has definitely operated with that mindset in the past.

Good! He should have thought about that before requesting a trade. Just like he owes Houston nothing, we owe him nothing. He can go F@&k off now and be the greatest non champion of the likes of Tracy Mcgrady.
