Since Biden is owned by China... and the election was rigged.... and we are at war with China... this is for the best.

The election process is now corrupted because these folks decided it’s at least good politic in return, whatever their beliefs.

GA result is moot. A win reinforces crazy doesn’t matter. A loss would be pinned as a problem with GA government officials not getting on board with the crazy (or is in bed with the other side) and it further pushes the need to. Same playbook - the only way we can loss is the other side cheat.

There isn’t much you can do with the base gobbling up all these crazies conspiracy theories. Correct them or let them loose doesn’t matter much with the folks that are already willing to buy into them. But there are things you can do about these baseless claims and about breaking laws - go after them hard through the courts. If you win these with financial or criminal judgements, you discourage these behaviors. The political fall out of either a loss or doing nothing is about the same. Given the assumption that crazies is the new and growing norm, there is very little downside but good upside going after them.

This is one of those things don't necessarily want to jump to conclusions. This could be part of a checked out Administration deciding to take a Holiday break and just not aware of how important or how much work needs to be done rather than a deliberate attempt to undermine the incoming administration.

Either way it's not good for the country.

I agree that Trumpism will not win out. However, but it won't be because of middle of the road Dems perusing their usual tilt toward the Republicans by slightly less tax cuts for the donor class, slightly larger increases in Pentagon budgets (to show how they are not weak on "defense") and .balancing budgets with slightly smaller cuts on health education and welfare.

What have the Democrats done to even remotely suggest they will use the same crazy, scorched-earth tactics that the Republicans have been using since Newt Gingrich? For those of us who actually follow things closely, the both-sides arguments are really getting exhausting given the facts.

They won't. They will adopt some lame ass half-step version and receive twice the grief because the Republicans are that much better at simplyfying their message and getting it out there.

    History.

Once precedence is set lingers. I look at the expansion of executive power under GW Bush. The next President (Obama) continued to exercise broad powers and now Trump has attempted to expand the powers even more.

One side said the cancel and delay was a mutual agreement while the other side said, nope it wasn't.

Either way, given the culture of Trump, this is not unexpected and minor relative to the loser in the WH calling on a team of crazies on what his option are, including declaring martial law and using the military to carry out a new election in the swing states he lost.

I give it a good chance he’s pushing for a version of it. Get his special counsel to make up evidences for fraud, get a few senators and congressmen on board to reject the EC result on the swing states he lost, have a lovely loud debate on it and maybe even get the senate to vote to reject. Media frenzy. If he can do all of that, he then can claim there is solid evidences of fraud, the senate voted him president and Nancy Dem went against the constitutional and voted for Biden. We moved on but the country is damaged beyond repair for years to come with possibly immediate short term violence in the street. That would be a very nice smooth transition to Biden.

ps. All of this to maintain his political power and control over republicans.

I wouldn't put it beyond this Administration to just decide to take a break whether planned or not. I think they are that incompetent it's possible.

I think that is possible too. Tuberville, Ron Johnson and Rand Paul have all said they might be willing to take up a challenge to state electors on Jan. 6th so that could play into that.

True Obama used Executive Orders too following the Bush pattern. What we are talking about with the undermining of the election is far more brazen and damaging to our country.

While Gore did contest the FL election results when the USSC ruled against him he conceded, helped the Bush 43 transition and even presided over the acceptance of the state electors in his role as VP. He even shut down attempts by Representatives of his own party to challenge the electors on the floor of the House. Hillary Clinton conceded the next morning and Obama within a week of the 2016 election had Trump over at the White House.

I have a hard time seeing a Biden or any of the leading Democrats engaging in the type of undermining of our election that Trump is doing. ]

Since the pay stubbs of Russian government propagandists have been found adding to your account and you have been twice arrested and are probation for child p*rnography, we'll take your posts with great skepticism.

It's fun posting things with no evidence backing them.
