Good lord, I would’ve traded him before signing him to that ridiculous deal.

Not a max but almost as bad for a guy that can’t score. This is why you don’t just give up Harden, he’s underpaid even at the max.

    Even Capela dominated him.

Nice of him to turn down a Supermax deal to take *only* a Max deal.

I always find deals like these strange. There's no way, absolutely no way, that he would come close to 40 million on the open market given his one way status.

People say pay him or lose him, but is a team gonna clear 40 million in cap space just to sign Rudy f**king Gobert. No way in hell I give that much money to any player that isn't a complete game changer. Without his bird rights no other team will come close to that number.

PJ Tucker has a point that he is underpaid even more now.

If he could only grow eight or nine inches, go back in time a decade or so, and get someone to call him a defensive player of the year candidate. It’s almost as if he is paid like a 6’5” power forward in his mid to late 30s that has played all over the world and only stands in the corner on offense.

??? He wants a ring if you arent beating the Lakers you should sell high before he leaves for nothing. Even if Harden signs that super max he isnt gonna be happy if ths Rox dont deliver a ring. With the Lakers as presently constructed that aint happening within the next 2 years or even 3 years. I can see Lebron going for broke the next 3 years to shut up the MJ crowd.

Just because Utah made the dumbest decision this year doesnt mean Rox need to do the same.

I’m not saying don’t trade Harden - I’m just saying don’t give him up for peanuts. . . He’s past signing a max with us.

LOL. That makes Simmons's contract look like a bargain bin deal.

    Tilman, take note!

Wall will be traded for Gobert in the next 2 to 3 years. Tillman can't resist.
