Just to respond to this @justtxyank It's not misinformation. Paul is in OKC running the same offense he ran in Houston. The only difference is he's a better player that year. He went from not being able to take LOONEY in isolation defense to beating Rob Covington in iso situations. The Thunder's offense has no movement. He's not running anything drastically different that he did in Houston.

Ive heard his IQ isn’t up to par and he’s not the most logical player. Although he might try to take the leadership role his thought process is irrational. Thus would explain his wild plays and actions in games specially at crunch time. Still doesn’t take away that he’s an amazing talent.

almost the same time of last yr i was so glad of having him on our team....
@D-rock i luv his athleticism, mid-range shots, bulldog-style rim attacking as well as the retro style of hoop he presented in every game which is to show loads of hatred to opponent no matter who he is.
unfortunately, the experiment proved to be a failure, between him n the beard, what's more, it seems end of the day he could never be a qualified pg controlling the tempo, distributing the ball to right person, preventing himself from making mistakes at crunch time.

 

Westbrook can practice and play as hard as he wants to and that's good but until he starts playing the game within the game late in games possession by possession he's not winning a championship either. He needs to humble himself and start breaking his own individual game down in the off-season while reviewing film in regards to decision making, shooting and playing off the ball.

Lol as great as Westbrook is at leaving it all out on the floor he still hasn't made the most important sacrifice that's necessary for a star player to lead his team to a championship and I'm seeing he has too much pride to do it.
