Not funny bruh. I actually got someone pregnant in a long distance relationship so I'm stuck here because I won't leave my daughter. I wasn't even still with her mother. **** made me feel like I ****ed my life up but I don't regret my daughter. At least the cost of living is better I guess
Good on you for stepping up. That little girl's lucky to have a dad like you. As for f**king up your life, everyone has regrets. And who know, years from now you might look back at this as the best thing that every happened to you.
Wall might have a peak year if he just controls himself on defense. Crazy athletic guy, man. Always good to really appreciate a guys game up close.
Wiz fans are actually loving Russ tonight. He would have like 5 more assist if our shooters could hit
I was asked if I had any thoughts on our first preseason game and I noted the long 2’s John Wall took. I figured he believes opponents don’t expect long 2’s from that distance, less chance of them contesting them..... but I cringed watching them. Just a half step back and you probably have the same FG% with greater reward of one extra point per attempt. Now I know where JW got that thought process from. Westbrook shoots 15 footers as if he makes 7 out of 10.......only he doesn’t. Get use to living with that. WB was somewhat disciplined or restrained from shooting so many in the reg season; but then the playoffs happened and he went to old reliable, “unreliable mid-range bricks.” So in requesting a trade from the Rockets, he may be in pursuit of those shots on a more regular basis during the season than what he was allowed in Houston. Just prepare yourself for that possibility.
I'm telling you they coached him like he was Cassell. It's frustrating. Our fan base hated it. The whole offense was long 2s and our coaches loved it He played a great 1st half tonight but took a couple of bonehead shots at the end of the half that all the fans hated but recognized we will have to live with... Lol Brooks looks like he's running a different system this year. Neither WB or Beal are having the ball much. They are playing off the ball, running motion, and getting the ball in their spots to make quick hitting plays. It actually looks decent.
You sound like you know about basketball or read / research the NBA well. The NFL teams like to play man-to-man in preseason to get a feel of what the defender can do individually. NBA as well. In the season teams are going to run more switch everything and zones. Interested to see how teams defend not only Silas offense but also the one you just described in Washington which may have no bearing on motion plays and screening since defenders will be defending an area in the zone. We shall see though, every zone has its flaws. I was watching a you tube video on Cedi Osman good point output total vs Heat. It was his rookie season and LeBron was still with the team. Heat were playing a zone defense. Every team will need to adapt. Good luck to you and the Wiz.
I pride myself on knowledge and details. I was a good athlete and I'm a professional fight judge. Boxing, MMA, Kick Boxing. I love the cerebral part of sports. I have my daughter in MMA. I always tell her IQ and defense 1st. Then you worry about offense. Out think your opponent and protect yourself and you will be in every fight
