Last 20 games of last season, he put up 20/8 on 56% from the floor and 40% from 3.

This guy could legitimately put up Anthony Davis type numbers. He probably won't ever be nearly as disruptive defensively, but offensively, its very possible.

Yep, he was one of my options.

I didn't think Rockets could afford Wood.

Especially after Morey offered a FRP for him at trade deadline last season and was rebuffed.

I believe the game you are looking for is not AD but rather Chris Bosh’s game in AD’s body.

A lot of scouts and NBA executives question his character and work ethic and believe he won’t keep playing at a high level. He has focus issues that can become worse without coaching help and a reward/punishment arrangement. In Detroit if he missed a switch or was slow coming over to help defensively, he was removed from the game for awhile.

Over the course of a season he tends to lose weight and he can really be pushed around inside defensively by strong physical players.

Is he really a solid three point shooter? A lot of scouts questioned it last year was a statistical fluke from three.

Wood has had quite a NBA journey to get to here.

Props to Stone man, he saved the Rox future by acquiring Wood. At least we got a 25 yr old stud to build around now.

Wood was on Rockets radar last season, Morey tried to pry him away from Pistons at trade deadline.

Stone is following the template to build a true 5 Out team from last season.

I'm trying not to go overboard with Christian's potential but man! Watching the highlights from the last game I can see that he was not in shape yet. He almost kinda stumbled around a bit not knowing where to be. Just think when he is capable of playing full starter minutes. He could possibly be a 30ppg player this season.

They should have got him when NO waived him. Morey tried to pry him when he busted out I mean thats like trying to pry THT from Lakers or Pokusev from OKC.

Well no team was that forward thinking were they?

Even Pistons almost waived him for Iso Joe.

Wood could average 20-10 this year easy.

    What a unicorn he is.

Stone is actually doing something totally different than Morey, he's building a COMPLETE team. He's actually doing better than Morey

Can you imagine last year's team with Rico AND Woods? Playoffs might have been a different story.

I sure do not want anyone taking away 41 mill a year anytime soon.

Not because of the money, the overall salary concept.
