What type of extension does PJ realistically think he’s going to get?

 

i liked Harden before he was a Rocket. I literally lived down the hall from him my freshman year. I just don’t like people coming to a Rockets forum essentially rooting against the team where you’re posting. It’s unseemly. This isn’t a James Harden fan club. I’ve liked this team my whole life. I’ll like them when Harden inevitably gets a trade and I’ll like the Rockets long after he is out of the NBA. I’m too old to only root for a player and I have strong ties to Houston.

 

I've been on here since '17. Look at my likes...does it seem like I've been rooting against the Rockets during that time? No, I don't think so.

It just so happens that this franchise is a sinking ship now due to leadership. Time to get off the ride.

lol we have some posters here that rather we return back to the years where we had beautiful team play that made our chances of a ring very low over harden iso plays.

There will always be haters, but yea it's kinda weird how some of these posters are treating harden like he's a bum who is easily replaceable.

Im just hoping we either get more of harden and wood or a trade package where we don't end up looking like dumbasses.

Unless Harden is causing issues with team, I don't understand the sense of urgency from Rockets to trade "sooner rather than later." Something doesn't add up to me...

The org has bent over for him repeatedly - and he's still not happy...

He's under contract, wants a trade - and went out and drove down his value by acting a fool amid covid...

and he wants out...

Do you think if James said tomorrow he wanted to stay that they wouldnt keep him? That they wouldnt give him some uber mega extension?

Just accept that he doesnt want to be here - so its time to move on...
