siakam, along with og or powell or else harden stays siakam is already an all-star and og has potential to be a mini kawhi
He's not a star. What if he doesn't pan out? Never trade a proven star for a complete unknown. Even if he's good he's not a star.
Cant be super excited for CW on one hand who has a very small sample size as well. And was even cut in China. Then on the other hand be negatuve about herro. And say something like herro disappears at times and it wasn’t always roses.
Christian Wood was an MLE level signing. this is a trade for literally the best offensive player in the nba. This isn’t comparable. You are way too smart to not see the difference. Simmons is the right choice. He’s already all NBA and All Defense. There’s no risk he’s not an all star. Only risk is he’s not a franchise guy.
here's the poster's response to your question. If he doesn’t we can always flip him later for a “proven star. This dude thinking it's 2k or something where u can get rid of role players to net a proven star.
Christian Woods sample size isn’t even small. He’s killed the past 2 years every minute he’s played. He just didn’t play many minutes. It’s gonna be the same production on 4 teams. 2 of which were terrible.
$3 Million difference. ok I’m starting to think you may actually be related to Tilman. Please get Simmons, trust me. This is -pro Bono. If want to hire me, I can work nights and weekends.
Everybody talked about getting a “AD” deal for James well this is it. AD wasn’t traded for “star” or “proven star” ingram - herro Ball - Robinson Hart - nunn And whatever else
lebron was compared to magic johnson out of high school, james harden compared to brandon roy/ginobili pretty much every current elite player today was compared to another high end role player or star player as a prospect herro was compared to former rockets great nik stauskus and you think he is worth parting harden for lol
I’m for Simmons as well been on recorded about that. It’s just lately not something that just started today that I have started warming up to the idea of a Miami trade.
I'm not that good at picking up irony in text so I'll just take it your being serious. It's not lebron, pretty sure he has been somewhat around 20ppg since his rookie season. It's james harden.
The more I think about the more it makes sense. If herro doesn't pann out we literally traded a superstar for a bunch of role players (no fking way u can flip them into a star) Simmons, u roll the dice (he might never become the superstar, but u can at least still flip him to another sucker). Either option the risk is there and not worth getting rid of Harden, but at least with simmons the risk isn't as bad to pivot once u realize u fked up.
Honestly, I couldn't care less who "draft experts" compare players to. They said Steph Curry was a career back up. I could pull you a million examples of ridiculous draft comparisons.
No it wasn't sarcastic. I wanted to know. The reason I didn't say Harden was because I couldn't remember if he was in the league at 20. He was my next guess.
