So CP3, Dwight, Westbrook, Wall, Cousins, Christian Wood, EGO are all scrubs now? Fascinating...

LOL. Nice pivot. Bottom line is, Ya boy was a role player that was gifted a "feel good: Finals MVP Cedric Maxwell/Andre Igodoula style. He didn't put the Spurs on his back, If anything he was riding with 4 Hall of Famers.

What makes you think the Rockets under Shillman Fraudtita penny pinching is a great franchise if they do trade Harden?

No but Harden didn't have those type players for the majority of his time in Houston.

Morey upping the ante after Woj does Rockets dirty by exposing their desperation to trade Harden.

LMAO at how Morey is turning this negotiation around.

The Spurs won by committee I'll agree with you on that point. But they had to give the Finals MVP to someone, you really could have just kept that Finals MVP and not given that award to anyone that Finals on the Spurs side. Kawhi averaged the most points in the Finals for San Antonio and had to guard LeBron James. That's not an easy task for anyone. I think that's why ultimately be received the award. But I still give Kawhi his props for that Finals and that series propelled him into the player that you see today imo.

U acting like these guys were in their prime when they came to Harden.

Wall, and cousins both returning from massive injuries. Like how does this count as talent?

Dwight couldn't even play with old man kobe.

Cp3 was his best teammate at 33.
Westbrook....... we traded him for wall.

Woods? The guy haven't even played a real game yet with Harden.

Harden can't carry for sure. But don't act like he had all star talents in their prime helping his ass when he needed them.

To me your argument is basically. (Exaggeration)
Harden has 56 yo mj join the Rockets and gets bounced in playoffs.

Harden sucks, can't win with the goat on his team. Timing.

Ha! Morey the guy that will do anything to get a player is suddenly acting like there's limits to his desperation for stars.

Bro what are you talking about? Dwight played with Harden for 3 seasons. CP3 was here for 2 years. And Westbrook was just here last year. Harden has had one of the top guys at their respective position for 6 seasons now. Not to mention Harden has had Eric Gordon here for 4 seasons. Harden has only been in Houston for 8 seasons, so maybe 2 of his years here you can point to and say maybe Harden needed some more star power. Stop believing the narratives that people here on Clutchfans are pushing that Harden hasn't had any help here in Houston because it's a false narrative bro. #fakenews

How was Leonard not the best player in the series?

    Parker averaged 18ppg (47.9% fg; 41.7% 3pt), 4.6apg, 0.4 rpb, and 0.8 spg.

Duncan averaged 15.4 ppg (56.9% fg), 2 apg, 10 rpg, and 0.4 spg.

    Leonard averaged 17.8ppg (61.2% fg; 57.9% 3pt), 2 apg, 6.4 rpg, and 1.6 spg.

It doesn't matter that he didn't lead the Spurs in scoring, rebounds, or assists. The FMVP had to go to either Duncan, Parker, or Leonard, and not only was Leonard statistically better than Duncan or Parker, he also guarded Lebron.

Parker was the Spurs leading scorer and assist man & should have won the MVP. IMO

If they were playing with LBJ they would be listing them as keys to success

The years we needed help, our 2nd best player was cp3 at 33 years old against one of the best team ever created. Its not fake news its facts, Harden did not have enough help to carry us over the gsw. Idk how u refute that.

they also claim melo was apparently in his prime when he came to Houston. Regardless of what happens with harden this year. I will be glued to warriors games all this season. Last year I was close to be proven right. Now I wanna see curry play the season and carry these guys for the season. But suspect the warriors are saving a COVID excuse to help curry miss a few games

Dwight was still considered the best center in the NBA when he came here to Houston. CP3 and Harden almost made it to the Finals against GSW. Westbrook was still damn good for us last year. None of these guys were old players and still fairly in their primes. Take your cape off buddy...
