I would like to know the truth. Honestly I would. Because it seems like he quit rather abruptly, it doesnt seem like this was all planned.

But we also dont even know if Morey wanted to hire JVG? We have no idea what went on and I'd like to know for sure. That would hurt a lot of its found out that the dude just dipped on us, but I honestly dont believe Tim Machmahon our Feigen's "take" on this because I know exactly where they are coming from. But if its further reported WHY he left then yea, I'll not be happy that he bailed on us. Until then, it's hard for me to believe he up and bailed on us. Philly is not even nicer than Houston like that.

You're acting like there is a huge anti-Morey conspiracy. He's constantly getting praised by everyone. He's a star. It's gotten to his head. You've been constantly arguing for him since the day he left. You never let it go. I Stopped caring about him.Stone is doing a fine job and Morey seemed happy. Then the Harden to 76ers rumors starting piling up and I started reflecting.

    The truth is.

    1) He Quit
    2) He publicly said he needed time off
    3) He said he loved James Harden in the Chronicle in an advertisement he paid for
    4) He took a job with another team just days later
    5) Said team is constantly linked as wanting Harden since before he quit with MDA rumors swirling (even before he went there)
    6) Shams and Woj said Ben Simmons was being offered
    7) Morey publicly denied Simmons was being traded
    8) Morey retweets Ben Simmons today think that's something he should be doing.

He isn't the protagonist in this story. Sometimes there are multiple parties at fault.

That's a lie and you know it HP3. Houston was up 10 points going into the halftime in Game 6 of the 2018 WCF. Houston scored 61 points in the first half. Followed by only 25 points in the second half. I repeat ONLY 25 SECOND HALF POINTS. But James Harden is the greatest offensive player ever right? What about game 7 of that same series when they were up by 15 going into the halftime and lost that game at home mind you only by single digits? Again the best players find away to win, I don't wanna hear any more excuses about James Harden. He simply has not gotten it done. He's the franchise player whom you guys claim is a top 3 player in the league. What about guys like Hakeem, Dirk, Bill Walton? Weren't they lone superstars on their teams and still won? I'm not even asking for a ring at this point. I'm simply asking why haven't the Rockets at the very least made it to the one NBA Finals? Lol Jamychal Green and Garret Temple is the best you can come up with bro? Ok...

If you're excluding OKC then it's 21 years.

Isn't this more about the Shaq/Kobe Lakers, the various incarnations of the Duncan led Spurs, and Curry/Thompson/Green Warriors being really great teams? Might suggest that Dirk was underrated.

Only 4 teams in the West has done it over 22 years. (Durant, WB, & Harden -2012 OKC bunch was the 5th) It' not easy to just go win the West.

Ive been around long enough to see that all this reporting is just gamesmanship, but varying groups to achieve some goal.

Probably shouldn't put alot of thought to each individual story and just wait to see what happens.

Lakers have LeBron and AD, Spurs had Kawhi, Dallas had Dirk, and Warriors had Steph and KD. All of which were real top 5 players at the time they won their championships. Top guys get it done pretenders don't. It's really that simple.

None of this gives any evidence that he quit on us, nor that he had this planned. You think Philly wanted Harden because they had a deal with Daryl Morey prior? Or maybe, James Harden is just a great player? 7 and 8 dont even matter. Daryl is a GM, he's always gonna act like that.

No i'm not saying definitively whether he quit on the Rockets. It seems like it but it could be mutual after he lost Tilman millions last year. That would explain no anti-compete clause. The truth is he's gone. You gotta let him go. He's never coming back.

Spurs had Duncan, Ginobli and Parker with Popovich coaching. (4 Hall Famers) Kawhi (17ppg) was a role player who was gifted a Finals MVP after giving up 28/8/4/ to Lebron. He wasn't the top guy on that team.

We lost that game by single digits. It doesnt matter, we needed more and we didnt have it. We didnt have Chris Paul in game 6-7 against the greatest team of all time, I'm sorry James Harden isnt Lebron but even then he put out in 5 games by that team and then 4 games the next I dont want to hear it. And yes, its very likely those two could have been the swing in that series the next year. Ariza could have been traded or resigned and that would have helped. We traded Melton for nothing except to get under the tax. He didnt spend when we needed him too and he did the same thing the next year.

I believe who ever we get, most of us will be majorly disappointed with the haul. We will think it wasn’t enough and we could have gotten a better deal. You are giving up James Harden, unless you are getting a LeBron back or a Kevin Durant type player, nothing will be good enough.

Well, Im upset because it seems like if we had a better(not broke) owner we wouldnt be in the situation we are in right now. Trading James Harden and likely facing mediocrity while having to tank next year. Im fine, Morey is gone, but I dont like Tillman. Stone has done good things but not amazing things, we'll see how this all works out. The only person I really like is Stephen Silas.

That situation has literally nothing to do with who the owner is, it has 100% to do with Harden acting like a diva. If you're mad at anyone, it should be him.
