    Wood is starting 5.

Everyone adores Silas but do not seem to hear a word he says.

I remember watching this game with my dad. I always make sure to get the popcorn ready right before tipoff so we can cherish the tipoff time/first few minutes of the game together whenever we watch together as a tradition. This game made us feel like, “wait, how did we get this dude for Martin and some gyro Lamb meat?”

I can’t believe it’s been so many years since we got Harden. And I can’t believe so much has happened in life in general ever since as well. I truly do wish time would slow down so we can enjoy it. Life is constantly just eat, sleep, work and repeat. I wish the standard work week was 4 days Monday-Thursday and normal weekends were considered Friday, Saturday, Sunday. That 4-3 schedule would be amazing for spontaneous trips every weekend or just seriously working on yourself and or just chilling and resting. I wish life and its ways were different.

Sorry for getting off track but damn, Harden is truly a skilled basketball player and it mesmerizes me every time that we have him... like we have James Harden. Can you believe that? And you can tell he just loves to hoop. I’m waiting for him to combine that love with a mentality that is strictly for winning, which means less iso and more cutting and off the ball movement. I truly do feel like he stays in Houston as it’s my gut feeling... and I hope Wall and Cousins and Gordon and Wood and company can stay healthy enough to help Harden in the playoffs.

Really liked the lineup tonight. Ì truly believe Wall would be great off the bench as a 6th man. That’d be a tough decision for Silas.

Funny Harden wants to leave at a time when this team seems like the deepest and most balanced team we have had since he has been here. we could be really fun to watch this year.

Wall can create easier shots for Harden......Gordon can't

I know we’re talking about Wood but I really REALLY like Nwaba’s game too. I hope he gets a lot of minutes. He can be our dunk and D guy. The new Shane Battier with* mad hops?

I can’t believe we have so many good pieces.

Harden stop giving me blue balls and keep me Hard-en and stay in Houston and make it work with these guys... I think this squad is special.

I think Cousins has to be backup 5, because the defense has to change when he's in the game.

    Drastically.

Cousins has to play in drop coverage or zone.

Rockets are unable to use their base defense (heavy switching) with him in lineup.

But if Silas is willing to give up defense to maximize offense, then it's possible but both Wood and Cousins still would be playing same exact role.

Yeah Nwaba and Tate play tough defense. Not impressed with their shooting. Hopefully it will pick up.

Nwaba has more hops than Shane actually.

His problem right now is his cold shooting from 3.

But I agree, Nwaba is an energy player and defensive stopper.

I loved the signing last season.

I meant Shane with the hops. Nwaba’s nickname is actually Mr. Dunk. How crazy?
