That is an MDA play. It’s basically a triangle set out of sideline out of bounds.

It is probably our most used SLOB. It has many options. Harden slipping the overplay of the back-pick for a 3 off DHO was one of the more rare options.

I guarantee that you won’t be the first fan or analyst to credit Silas with our most commonly run SLOB since MDA arrived. I have clips of like five different options off this play.

And yes this was the quickest I’ve seen Harden make real time decisions since 016-017 season. He was moving well even off the ball. He still lapsed a couple of times off the ball but overall he was trying to be a quicker decision maker. He was making quicker reads

Can I ask you a question? I respect your opinion a lot. So I just want to know how much you think MDA screwed up in the Lakers series? Like what do you feel was the main problem there that caused our downfall last year?

After he led NBA in scoring and steals last season?

    Sure, why not.

I thought the chump was “disappeared?” Couldn’t care less what the fellow thinks.

This one game just might have opened his eyes. When the games count will tell the tale.

The sad thing about James probably leaving is that he and Wood managed to do some damage already despite the fact their pick and roll seemed to look awkward most of the time. Half the time it looked like they were rolling to the basket together holding hands. lol.

    It is MDA’s favorite SLOB.

It’s got like 5 options, not designed soley for Harden shooting that three. First option is actually a back door slam by inbound passer doing a rip cut off a Harden backpick. That must be switched...which allows Harden to slip his pick.

Anyhoot, the telltale sign of the play is triangle set spacing with passer passing to the big then rip cutting around a Harden backpick of the passer’s defender. Passer can go back door or over Harden’s pick depending upon whether there is a switch.

It doesn't appear that anyone answered you from my vantage.

So PJ looked really good on defense. He gets his hands in the way a lot with Silas' defense. Harden hit him with a couple of passes and his three point shot is back. No surprise to that though, his legs are under him. If we can keep our depth, PJ can keep his legs. MDA killed PJ's legs with those minutes.

I'm sure they'll shoot better once they get in game shape. They don't have to be snipers, they just have to be not left unguarded.

Go check what your bookie has Wood for MIP at, throw a couple bucks down and it could be easy money
