He isn't looking good at all. I don't care for Bmac either, but, if he can knock down the 3 outside of garbage time and in important games, he will have a place here with our lack of 3-point shooting.

when you're asked to sit in the corner for only spot up shots, it's just now how basketball should be played. Scorers like EG and Rivers had no chance to get loose. MDA had one play to get a person a shot and that's it; then it was ISO for the rest of the game.

EG is a scorer now, not a shooter; he needs time with the ball to be effective.

    Silas understands.

Lack of talent one year. Chris Paul getting hurt the next year(lack of talent). Defense and rebounding(but also lack of talent) and Chris Paul having a down year but oh by the way we still posted a really good offensive rating against them. And then Westbrook tanking both our offense and defense the next year.....lack of talent there too.

People like to boil it down to OH ITS THE SYSTEM. No, its not.

It sounds ridiculous, but I do like that Coach Silas allows players to strive to expand their game and if they prove they can handle it he allows them to use their skills in the game. So far I believe Silas is a much better developer of talent than Dantoni was and he has a system of offense that everyone likes to play in, not just Harden.

    Wood being a Harden fanboy.

I thought House looked good at times in the Bubble. He's a big guy who can play really hard chaoticly that will get you random rebounds and points

If there were power rankings for GM's Rafael Stone would be at the top of my list. He upgraded this team in a number of fantastic moves, in the midst of all the chaos going on with the Rockets, and in a shortened offseason. He added All-star caliber players, amazing young talent and draft picks. It's too bad Harden isn't all in because the Rockets are title contenders even without John Wall and could actually trade him instead. The Rockets are simply better when Harden is running the point. If Harden and Wall are going to play together then it would be better if Wall comes off the bench with Cousins..

Be careful for what you wish for.

Not everyone on the football team should play quarterback. It's not about kumbaya, it's about winning the ring.

Look at Harden’s eyes. He’s loving it! Hardly any practice from James. First game from Wood and with Harden, and you could see them starting to click together. Why anyone would want James to go anywhere else when he can play on our team with Wood is a mystery to me.

James stays, they stay healthy, and this game turns out to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship on the court? Harden can put Christian Wood in the All Star game. James can also win a hell of a lot of games with this guy, in my humble opinion.

So good to see a active, skilled big on the floor with James. Finally! Good showing for Wood in his first game. I think it could be really good after some practice time and more games together. PnR, PnPop,Wood attacking off the dribble...

I hope Rockets make James stay for a while and they come out the gate ballin. That would force him to rethink things. Maybe they say ok we can trade you to Orl, what you wanna do James? Haha

Is it time already to sign Wood's extension already?
