If Morey really is telling the truth about not offering Simmons... Which I doubt... Then perhaps there is more to the Harden issues than has been published.

Again that's a big IF. I'm guessing Morey secretly already has simmons bags packed and plane tickets to HOU booked.

Didn't Maury say the Rockets wouldn't trade Westbrook? I swear somebody did and then boom > John Wall follows Cousins.

Morey LOVES Harden, let's just be patient.

Wait until next offseason, I'm good.

Agreed. There's no need to overdo it. But it's about time lol. Moreys been out there singing his praises of Simmons like he really is Elvis.

I bet he is hating Tilman even more now. He wouldn't be squirming so hard had he not been forced to trade cp3 despite publicly saying otherwise lol.

Right!? Come on James... no pressure this year... just ball out. You’ll get your trade next year.

My guess is Morey was willing to trade Simmons all along. He just wasn't going to show all his cards at once.

If its true he is now doing so, I am betting this 2nd offer isn't the best he has either.

Hopefully, we wait for the 3rd one, which again is my guessing, will be his best and final one.

Don't mind getting Simmons tbh. I think our window has closed and I'd rather rebuild around Wood/Simmons etc.

Morey: "We're not trading Lebron James for Michael Jordan. He is an important part of our future."

His spin could be that 76ers ownership wouldn't allow the control Harden was accustomed to.

Harden for Simmons is the best package I've seen.
And I don't even think Sixers will even offer that.

Getting Simmons is never a bad thing.

If Harden is going to be half hearted here, and disruptive, then keeping him is bad news.
If Simmons is in 'some packages' that gives an asset that could always be flipped later.

Simmons has positive value around the league.
But I would be making Morey take back Ego in any deal. He can eat that crappy contract.

Lol, no "taking on Eric gordon's salary" is not a concession for a Harden trade that any Rockets fan who doesn't own a chain of leveraged chain sit down restaurants, casinos and hotels should even deign to discuss as something they want to see.

If even so much as a beard hair is parted with as part of a salary dump....
