Yep, it’s absurd. I’ll give credit to the Raptors SB Nation site for saying that they would do Siakam, Powell and picks for Harden, and the Sixers site at least acknowledged Simmons for Harden is worth it, too (though the fact they think no other picks should be included because they can wait this out for the demand to lower is laughable). The Warriors’ fan site also understands Harden’s greatness after watching their team compete against him in the playoffs for years.

The Pelicans hypothetical proposal is among the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever seen written. Rafael Stone would deserve to be tarred and feathered if he didn’t get Brandon Ingram back in a trade for Harden.

Rather trade for Aaron Gordon instead.

So pretty much confirms Morey let the hit piece out from McMahon.

Just keep him. If you're not getting back someone that the team believes can be a franchise player, then you're better off tanking and hoping to draft one. Don't ride the mediocrity treadmill with some C level players.

There is going to be a team that thinks it's got the chance at a championship next year with Harden, and is willing to give sufficient future assets to make the deal worth it. There's no way Harden is worth less than what OKC got for Westbrook and George, or less than the Pels got for Jrue. Give me a break.

LOL - The pomposity of this statement!

Bucks culture that has been so carefully curated by Antetokounmpo.

Giannis is such a great culture guy, sure.

Ask the assistant coach that he attacked because he deigned to correct and coach him on his attitude and game.

Same Giannis that held the Bucks organization hostage with his demands for very specific roster additions otherwise he would not sign extension and/or ask for a trade.

Where have I heard that shyte before?

Who else is Daryl friendly with that can write an article to attempt to lower Harden's trade value? I'm going with Howard Beck.

Some of the trade ideas are ridiculous and others are more reasonable but nothing surprising at all.

What I thought was most pertinent is that more and more media is now openly admitting that Rockets have a smear campaign going on against Harden.

    ‐----------------

Houston has tried to smear Harden’s reputation in recent days — seems like a weird thing to do when you’re attempting to get the most value possible back for your franchise star! — but there’s no doubt he’s been worth the “trouble” every step of his career. Get James Harden and your team vastly improves its chances of winning a championship.

Nothing. 0 rings in 8 years is a good enough track record.

    Hindsight.

How many MVPs did AD win again?

    Scoring titles?

How many playoff wins with NOP?

Too bad we couldnt find another Akeem Olajuwon who could win the championship all by himself.

Meanwhile you had supposed GOATS like Mike and Lebron who needed to form super teams in order to "earn" their rings, or at the very least had competent role players that came through in the clutch. Which has James had? A super team? Nope. Competent role players who won big games with big shots or timely play? Nope.

I guess a guard cant carry a team but a center can - go figure.

media wants Giannis to be seen as likeable...never mind he was out here head butting dudes in the bubble...the only reason they’ve had to fall back on the fellatio is because he got exposed in the playoffs back to back

they went from AD, to Giannis, and now Doncic is next up in line to be the young player that receives all the hype...we’ll see if he ends up disappointing like the 2 guys that came before him

the guy who is really starting to annoy me in all of this is Stone

Where the hell is he at?? The guy he wants to stay or trade for a big haul is getting riddled with bullets every day, and he’s basically hiding in a bunker. At least try to change the narrative.

Harden has had plenty of complementary role players but regardless his iso game will never work with whoever he plays with.

He just sucks in the playoffs.
