Uhm yes it is. Players who chose to stay with teams are a rare exception and partially the way contracts were constructed it restrained player movement and FA benefits. That has changed, hence no “loyalty”. Do you honestly believe MJ stays in Chicago if he lost championship games? No rings for Dream in Houston? I would be shocked.
I’ve said it before n I’ll say it again Harden is not going to lead us to a ring he needs a superstar that’s better than him to get us a championship. let’s see what curry does this year before we crown him as better than harden. He’s never really had to carry a team. He was banking on klay being healthy to save him this year for playing defense. Last year he got the injury excuse. Let’s just wait and see with curry. A lot of the media are still living in 2016 when it comes to coverage of steph. Meanwhile other players have gotten better

Well, he did lead the team in scoring yesterday. And does he need to be a high-scoring player for the Rockets? They have Harden and a lot of scorers. If he had scored a ton of points yesterday people would be saying he's a ball hog who'll never work alongside Harden.

I don't see this as a positive or a negative really. Harden wants out - I don't think that has changed. But he is showing up and playing with the right attitude. So all you can do is hope that this team wins and see what happens
