The truth like most divorces is in the middle.

James Harden didn't come to camp because he felt it would pressure the Rockets to trade him.

However, Harden could have still gone to camp or at least not flaunted that he was having a great time flaunting COVID protocol.

Harden could have spoken to the media when he appeared at camp or even just given a general statement.

Now I am sure he would say him discussing it with the media wouldn't lead to anything constructive.

The Rockets organization also has been immature about this, with all these hit stories released and the GM not making any statements, letting his coach and players answer questions.

The Rockets organization has leaked about how Harden will likely be here all season, that isn't going to happen, Harden will be complaining and will likely act out if they don't trade him as it is the only leverage that he has.

Also Harden "acted out" to show the Rockets that he would if he wasn't dealt.... it only made Harden look bad.... the Rockets organization leaks all these stories to make Harden and Morey and MDA look bad, and all it has done is make the Rockets organization look poorly.

It has been handled poorly all along.

 

I will take the unknown over the known when the known quantity is garbage.

Before Harden era, sans the two championship its been depressing as fk, never good enough to win it all, but not shtty enough to tank. Team play? mid range shots?

If harden gets traded so be it, but im not gonna fking celebrate our team getting shttier because of it.

Don't act like player loyalty is so important as a rockets fan, and use it as a reason to hate on harden we been roster revamping for years.

What is currently happening sucks, I do hope we find a good trade haul and james harden win a ring somewhere else.

Some people seem to value aesthetics over results and would tolerate mediocrity so long as we play "beautiful/right" basketball.
