He isn't going to be able to do what LBJ did as far as setting himself up for a long run of title shots.... but he has proven very durable and his game should age well.... so you figure he likely will be on a team that will compete for a title the next two years after he is traded, and then he is a free agent and try to position himself to get one.

If he gets a title he will be in a similar position as KD where no one really questions his greatness, but he isn't attached to any true dynasty. If he manages to get a couple titles, then the narrative in the media will drastically shift and he will be remembered as one of the 20 best players ever.

Hindsight is a b**** for everyone.... I am just saying Harden likely can find a way to get a title and maybe two.

This does not kill Hardens value because most superstars get this treatment.

It's for fans like you that will blame Harden for everything and ignore Tillman.

This is noty a shot at you personally just how most people look at stuff like this.

yeah a skilled player like harden at 33 is still going to be pretty good. I can definitely see 1+1 deals signed by him at that point depending on where he is or where he goes

They should've avoided all this BS by trading Harden before draft night.

It is going to another wasted season with rumors and gossip clouding over the franchise

You say it’s not a shot at me but say me directly.
First off, you ain’t heard me give anyone a pass on this. Ferntits is a problem, management is a problem and so is Harden.
So you can miss me with all the rest of that.

I have a hard time believing that this kills Harden's value. This is a league that caters to the superstars. We've seen this scenario time and time again and always breathed a sigh of relief when it wasn't happening with our team, as far as the all the drama that is being leaked (including the history of what led to this).

Divorces in the NBA rarely end nicely. We should get a decent haul considering that Bradley Beal will be the only true superstar available in the free agent market next offseason, so a player of Harden's caliber that can change the trajectory of your team will be incredibly valuable.

I too would like Tilman to Ban McMahan from Toyota Center just like Mark Cuban did. He's a **** riding hack.

How do you see what they do?

LBJ did the same in Miami as well as Wade.

    Durant missed practices in GS.

You are being naive to think all of this is true and that it is terribly different.

So why is Mccmahon just now reporting this?

Why did he not report this after CP3 left?

That is true, I don’t know if it’s true. All I can do in assume from past players and current behavior.
I am as big a Harden fan as they come, but none of this is sitting right with me. All of it seems messed up.

And again, I know stars get extra treatment. I’m fine with that. Not ok with making teammates wait and change flight paths, late to meetings, handpicking players and then bailing. There’s entitled and then there’s that.

And that’s not even all on Harden, behavior is learned. The organization is complicit.

We didn't do anything, it was the previous Rox management. He could dispel all of the "rumors" about the past and could prove everyone wrong by showing up and showing out. But he didn't do that did he? He chose, skip camp for a Vegas/ATL bender, hang out with rappers instead of teammates. He made that choice, we did not. He chose to not speak to anyone, not us. Hopefully he will realize that he in fact does have all the power to control the narrative and not let others do it for him. But that requires he do it and he's yet to wield that power. Even last night, skipping media when it's obvious everyone wants to hear from him. If you don't participate, then can't complain about the direction, you neuter yourself. Even Kobe, came out in his own words and said, trade me because no rebuild. He was open and honest and that's how people move on. Iggy was honest even if it made him sound like an ass. At least he was honest. Harden hasn't said anything publicly and that's not fair to everyone who has ever supported him.

Empowering and collaborating with your top employee happens in all successful businesses.

At no point in the last 8 years has this never been an issue and now all of a sudden he is off the chain, I call BS.

    Owned the Rockets?

    Really?

So he has been all in on not spending the MLE and trading people for LTS?

It's amazing how all of a sudden Harden is Lebron lite and controlling everything in the org when no one has said this before.

I believe Beal has a player option for next season. So he will likely be available.

his player option is for the 22-23 season

    https://www.slamonline.com/nba/bradley-beal-wizards-opt-out/

He signed the extension. Beal still had two years left on his existing contract. The extension kicks in for the 2021-22 season, has a player option for the following year and means that Beal won't be a FA in the summer of 2021.

What did Harden do with that empowerment? Help build the business, help business ascend to new heights? NOPE! He was upper management with enhanced power who use it for stripper and coke parties instead of increasing sales or profits. THAT never happens or at least never lasts and you know that.

    Handpicking players?

The only player he can be considered to have handpicked is WB and that has conflicting reports.

    Late to meetings?

Why has this never been an issue before?

Harden has been universally loved by 95% of his teammates yet know you believe everything negative said about him.

Even Howard has never said anything negative nor CP3 or WB?

Players haven’t came out and said it directly but have insinuated it.
