And he would be more efficient if he hit more 3's.

Silas has really F'ed with his game.

none of the that really has anything to do with what i said. i dont care about his salary, and never mentioned tate. all i said is i dont believe he is ready to be a regular rotation guy. i see a bit of improvement from last year, but still not there.

Rox as a whole still shot 45 3s. Mclemore took 5 threes himself. Lol what is the problem here?

He made 4/5 of his 2 pt shots and 40% from 3 how d hell is tjat ****ing with his game? Wtf

Nah you said he wont do anything about Lebron and AD.

So to be a rotation guy you need to stop 2 of the best players alive now? Dude has played well 2 of the 3 preseason games he played stop being such a hater for no reason.

Silas may very well be a d******d. I’m not pessimistic but it is entirely possible this guy is an ass

    we’ll see

Stone is the guy who has clearly proven himself in his new position.

Because McLemore's role is catch and shooter, he wastes possessions by putting it on floor and attacking basket when he aborts before he even gets to rim and fumbles the ball or throws an errant pass.

This is not his game, he is going to regress back to that player who tried to do too much instead of honing in on what he does best.

Rockets played an offensively challenged Spurs team tonight, these little details will be much more heightened vs. the better teams.

If he wants to expand his game, concentrate on being a much better defender instead.

It's just preseason so giving Ben some practices wouldn't hurt. After his performance last year, teams will probably run him off the three point line so he will have plenty of opportunities to put the ball on the floor and make plays.

My thoughts on the game is that first off I'm just happy to see Harden and Tucker back on the squad. I still dont see any team beating the Lakers but the reality is this Rox team is the deepest and most talented one assembled since I started watching way back in Yao Ming era. Which is a huge shame, any other year I'd be hyped for a parade and a chip run. However looking at the entire NBA I dont see any team that can give Lakers trouble beside the Rox. They remind me a lot of the Celtics except we got Harden instead of Kemba Walker so there's that. Cousins, Wood, Tucker, Harden, Wall, EG, House, Mclemore, Caboclo that's a hell of a 9 man rotation imo.

There are lots of positives from this game, starting with Silas. I'm really impressed how he took the team turmoil in stride and got everyone acclimated even if Harden and Tucker missed all of camp. I like the "young" guys we have House, Mclemore, Wood, Caboclo...at least the Rox are successful going down in age esp if the one of the 6'7 dudes pan out.

Defense def needs work though but then again its just preseason.

He was the game's leading scorer and had the highest plus minus how many possessions did he waste exactly?

It is preseason man now the time for him to experiment and try new things.

Then he should swing the ball. His role can include motion but not with the ball in his hands. Same for House.

I already cringe when EGo attacks the basket because I'm expecting bad things to happen if he doesnt try to score.

If he dives into a crowd or changes direction/dribbles too long - turnover.

If he tries to pass it out, usually while hes in the air and contorted - turnover.

And EGo is a much more skilled shot creator and most importantly better finisher than either House or McLemore.

The skillset variance between EGo and House is a chasm and that divide is even greater when compared to McLemore.

he has played OKAY against some guys that will NOT be in rotation when the season starts. if he cant help us against the good teams, then he isnt ready. like i said, spot minutes, depending on opponent, but not firmly in the rotation.

We can buy him out though, right? Or use a stretch provision?

You remember in the playoffs when nobody let Rox get 3s off and everyone outside of Harden looks lost like a chicken with their head cut off? Well how did that work out for us...

Now BMac knows he CAN do more and in fact the roster is full of players who are comfortable with putting the ball on the floor for at least a few dribbles.

Never forget, Morey and Dan Tony won ZERO championships in their entire careers mostly due to stubbornness and some bad luck no doubt. But stubbornness you can control.

I dont think depending on Ben Maclemore mid range twos is gonna help this team.

Using your rationale, Silas has won zero championships too.

Hell has any Silas coached team ever won their divison, let alone a 1st seed?

And taking this exercise to its fullest, should we expect Bogut to play Steph's role if he was shut down in paint or play his role better?

Maybe Bulls win more championships if Rodman took it upon himself to shoot as much as MJ or Pippen?
