Sure looked to me like an Achilles issue. Chris's first reaction was to look behind him; he thought he'd been kicked or hit.

Hate to see it. I'm not sure he'd have made the team this year, though. We're deeper and have better young guys who have more all-around games. If he's do e for this year, maybe we'll bring him back in next years and give him another shot.

Definitely looks like he blew his achilles. Never wish to see anyone get hurt.

If he's injured we will probably have to keep him on the roster as his contract becomes fully guaranteed. It seemed likely he was going to be cut now we have to cut someone else instead and try to include Clemon's contract in a trade.

Yes, but insurance covers 75% of it.

When Yao was injured, Les made the most money ever as 75% of his large contract was covered by Insurance.

We are so close to the hard cap though. This really hurts our cap flexibility and we likely will be waiving someone else worthy of making the team this year. Salary cap aside, I feel bad for Clemons.

It's just uncanny that it happened with all of the achilles stories being told by the broadcasters due to Wall and Cousins (and Rudy Gay). Clemons was playing poorly and his future in the league was already in doubt, but it hurts to see this. Hope he has a good support system.

yeah i wasnt worried , but it seems like it effects our cap figure and we'd have to let gerald go .

I wonder if we can give some team a second to take on clemons salary for this year .

We could always waive him and settle his contract, I believe, but that is a @BimaThug question, he is far more knowledgeable than I.

His contract becomes fully guaranteed so waiving him wouldn't help us. I really wish that weren't the case

    yup I'd pay the 2nd

on paper , Gerald maybe not worth it. But the chemistry that he can bring is off the charts. Plus greenhouse effect . Plus dunks. Plus 3's

    Never can have enough shooters.

I like Gerald Green, he can get 1x points per game. Also we can look for Jermine Lin

We can't lose Green before we wear the Oilers jerseys.

2 million against the cap when we already had very little flexibility. SMH.......
