The Rockets staggered CP3 with Harden. They staggered Westbrook too. Why wouldn’t we expect them to do the same with Wall?

However Wall plays so much more under control than Westbrook that him being on the floor with Harden doesn’t really hurt anything. Wall is an upgrade with or without James even if he isnt going to have 40 point games like Westbrook was capable of when he’s not a turnover machine.

 

Harden is playing the offense RIGHT NOW that the coach has asked him to play.

Harden did what Morey and Dantoni asked of him. This is such bull crap. Harden and Cp3 were VERY GOOD together. All you have to do is to be able to catch and shoot and you fit with other stars, its not that Harden doesnt. And this 4th sentence is straight up not true.

none of that has anything to do with Hardens ability - or willingness - to move off ball.

Hardens offensive style might be the best there ever was for all that matters.

This thread is about his ability to co exist with other players that need the ball in his hand.

and going on the only thing we have - evidence from the past 4+ years - he doesn’t do that very well, because when that other player demands/wants more usage, Harden doesn’t do anything.

get him with KD. Get him with Lebron. I’m not saying it won’t work. It will because it’s multiple great great players.

somewhat joking. He’ll do the occasional back it though more often than not now that’s the fake back cut so he can - what else - get the ball in iso above the three point line. Then every once in a while they’d run him off a wing screen or double screen into a dribble hand off.

but please find clips of the team running an offense where Harden moves from one side of the court to the other more than once without the ball.

He's doing that RIGHT NOW. Westbrook was BETTER when Harden was on the floor.

What? Cp3 had no problem until Cp3 had a very NON cp3 like year, and then it became a problem. Westbrook...just flat out isnt good and Harden has given the ball to Wall plenty toinight.

You dont have to do that to be considered moving off ball. Harden is not the type of player to come off pin down screens dude. You are asking for a very specific set of off ball movement that no coach would have him do.



Also I dont post clips from the game. He came off a flair screen from Tucker in transition. And he actually took a shot off a double pin down screen as well. He's doing what the coaching staff has asked of him.
