You are the one that from the beginning is trying to personal attack ME. You said in the past 2 hours "Coming from a Giannis fan is laughable" "Giannis is trash" "She gets too emotional" I have repeatedly ignored your bait attempts because it is just pathetic and embarassing. First you try to pull the "listen to the authority card" with SAS and then again resort to peronal attacks and patronising. Just stop. If you can't argue about Ben Simmons then stop quoting me and try to bait me.
No you can't play the same game with Harden he has accomplished much more than Simmons in college and the pros. Is Simmons gonna play with arguably the goat? How does what Love did have anything to do with Simmons being a franchise player? Did Love play with anybody as good as Embid? Did you really say maybe Simmons is the best player in the NBA in 5 years? The guy who is afraid to shoot over 10 feet and has never averaged over 20 points a game? You'r being ridicules.
you're the one that posted TS% to act like it was some impressive number. obviously that was wrong. So malakas is apparently cherry picking stats when you were in fact the one to use a stat. Interesting. No she's actually diving into the context of that TS% that you again cherry picked. But since the reality of the context weren't what you thought. It's stop cherry picking.
Harden is obviously better than Ben Simmons, It's why I'd want Thybulle and picks at minimum attached. Harden wants out badly. Everything points to the fact that he refuses to play long term for Tilman because he doesn't respect him. That cannot be fixed unless Silver makes Tilman sell to Michael Dell. On Simmons... Of course he's not going to be the best player in five years.... or is he?
Apologies for my posting style, it was not my intent to disrespect you. Just some of things you say are a bit exaggerated to make your point, hence my aggressive responses. But I will discontinue engaging with you to avoid further antagonism. But just FYI, I'm much tougher on other posters.
Maybe I am mistaken but i thought the whole point was seeing who would be the better piece to build around?
Oh of course it makes sense to lump him with Centers when it comes to TS%. Because TS% depends on shot distribution and Ben Simmons has the shot distribution of a pure Center. What to compare it with when he doesn't have more than 5 non last second shot attempts outside of the paint? Only with Centers. You are the one who brought up TS% not me. His TS% is horrible because he only shoots 60% in FTs. It is that simple. Most Centers in the league have much better TS% than that.
No he is not, what player has ever been the best who will not take a jumpshot? Are you freakin serious?
thats cherry picking my argument this isn’t about every other move a gm makes. This is about getting a return back for James harden. You can get legit an all nba player this very last season, which means he’s top 15 in the league or a player with upside yes but not a sure thing. what every other gm does with their roster is irrelevant. All that matters is what they’d do in a harden trade and it would be a landslide. He’s an all man franchise caliber player today. We know that, flawed but very good. you’re banking on upside and potential with herro. Uncertainty. Simmons is much less of a risk
I love how a ****ing Boston Celtics fan is in this thread trying to explain to a group of about five posters that Ben Simmons is a more valuable asset than Tyler Herro. You're a fun poster. I appreciate you even though you want to steal my beautiful Harden away.
if what every other gm does with their roster is irrelevant, then why did you tell us to poll every gm. You just said it was irrelevant yeah im banking on upside and potential and super max off the books. After all we are talking about a rebuild and future here. 2 key priorities when you are rebuilding. I mean last i checked. That's typically what you do when you have a top draft pick.
Right, but you said "no expert said to build Simmons." I'm guessing the true is the same as Herro. The difference is one has ran an offense for a team for 3 years and the other played a great role as a rookie.
